An exquisite red carnival glass basket in the Heirloom pattern by Indiana.

It stands an impressive 10" tall and is about 6-1/2" average diameter. The pattern is a shell framed by a hobstar and repeats four times on the exterior. Interior is smooth.

The basket is a rich, deep red that will change hue as exterior lighting changes. Pictures really do not capture the beauty of this basket!

One tiny fleabite is on the bottom, you can not see it when displayed.

These little beauties are gorgeous! Shaped like leaves they are delicate and I see no missing rhinestones or tarnishing. In fact I see hardly no flaws whatsoever. The screwbacks are signed "Keyes"

We've all gotten the Nigeria email scam letter. Well here is the ORIGINAL money scam from 1940!

From a man in prison, he is writing Mr. Holman asking him to retrieve $185,000.00 in bank notes hidden in a trunk in a Custom House in North America. He promises him 1/3 of the money if he does this.

Who knew that scams abounded in the 1940s!

An updated bit of history...

I encountered the great-nephew of Mr. Albert Holman through a co-worker. Hi LAH!

Mr. Holman was one of the largest land owners in Alabama during the 1930's and 1940's. It makes sense that he was contacted for this particular "deal". It is my understanding that Mr. Holman did not follow through with the instructions in this letter, he was much more savvy.

Ok, this pendant is fabulous if you go for glitz! The heart glows cobalt blue, then emerald, and a hint of purple depending on which way you look at it.

She's large, the heart is 3/4" wide and long. Faceted she winks in the ligh. She is surrounded by clear rhinestones and hangs from a rhinestone encrusted bail.

Alas, she is missing one rhinestone but that is her only flaw.

She is 1" wide and 1 1/2" long.

These pretty clip on earrings measure 1.25" long. Set in silver tone metal each earring holds two aurora borealis rhinestones. The top rhinestone is attached to the clip on and the bottom rhinestone dangles prettily and swings with every movement of your head.

The pictures truly do not do these earrings justice, I just can't catch the aurora borealis aspect of them at all. I promise they are much prettier in person!

A lovely white enamel brooch with gold leaves. This is no fading rose, the rose itself stands 1" high! It did have a stem but it broke off. Personally I prefer it without the stem as the rose is such a focal point that the stem looked miniscule with it.

This is a magnificient example of American Pressed Glass.

The punch bowl measures 9" tall and 14" wide. There are 26 punch cups pictures and I recently purchased two more for a total of 28 punch cups! The punch cups measure 3" x 3".

Ahhhh, I wore these shoes exactly one time ~ to my senior prom in 1988!

I had a beautiful iridescent mermaid gown that changed from deep royal purple to emerald green (I'm still looking for it) and these were the ONLY shoes I could find to match. It took me over two months to find them!

They are a size 6.5 with a nice chunk heel. They are a very pretty deep royal purple and shimmer from purple to black at different angles. They have two straps, over the foot and behind the ankle with a silver buckle (for show only). The outsole is leather.

Measurements are:

9.5" from heel to toe
3" heel
3.25" width

IMPECCABLE vintage condition. No scuffing on the shoe or heel, very very minor (almost unnoticeable) scuff on the bottom of the heel.

I honestly have to say these shoes are in PERFECT condition.
