Another nautical-flavoured necklace! This one reminds me of the big thick ropes they use to tie the boat to the dock...sturdy, bold...but still very chic!

I have used gorgeous vintage-style resin beads. They almost look like the old bakelite beads. Solid colour and round in shape, and very light weight. I have also used navy blue and white cotton cord to rope them all together.

The length is long long and the necklace can be doubled over to wear with two strands.

There is something earthy and wonderful about the combination of bronze brown and green. It reminds me of the walking trails I have taken in our local rainforest.

These earrings are perfectly matched to my Bronze Age necklace (not in store yet, but watch this space!!!)

They are made using coconut shell beads, large resin beads and sterling silver wire and earring hooks. They are chunky and beautiful!

These earrings are delectably large and chunky and still somehow delicate. I have used gorgeous opaque chocolate brown resin beads as well as speckled turquoise ceramic discs and silver and brown ceramic discs. At the base is a facetted citrine bead. The hooks are sterling silver and the posts are fine silver.

This necklace is a favourite of mine at the moment for the simple fact that is is long and vibrant and chunky. I've used a variety of orange and pale pink resin beads and a collection of gorgeous fiber beads with pink, purple and silver running through them. They remind me of the vibrant patterned clothing of the Mongolian people. I have also featured two beautiful smooth ceramic rings and gorgeous smooth burgundy leather cord. Thick and chunky!

The length of the necklace is approx 102cm (40")...Very long but not heavy to wear. This is due to the lightweight nature of the resin.

You might know that I live near the beach. Well the other day I was walking along one of our gorgeous beaches and saw a lady with a canvas and oil paints positioned, paint brush in hand looking out towards the rumbling ocean. Such a picturesque scene, or at least it would've been had the woman not been tormented by the wind and the sheets of sand that were nipping at her ankles and getting into her palette. Frustrated and loudly proclaiming her frustration, she packed up her things and went home.

This necklace is for that poor lady, who will probably come back on a calmer day and paint her ocean.

The necklace is a gorgeous combination of blues and purple resin. They are strung onto white cotton cord.
