These long and elegant earrings are embellished with amazing stones, in the shades of blue and grey, of AA grade, that means top quality.
I first shaped the sterling silver base, then hammered and finally coiled with sterling silver. After that I enriched it with luscious and marvelous gemstones, such as:

-AA Tibetan turquoise micro-faceted briolettes

Just below a bali sterling silver bead tops a wonderful amethyst roundelle with sterling silver cap! It's so cheerful!

Following the weekly theme challenge - spring - I created a pair of earrings based on spring colours: pink and purple.
They're inspired by spring flowers, by their colour shades and their scents.

I used meters of sterling silver wire of different gauges and tiny silver beads of different sizes.
In the middle of it there is a genuine citrine faceted briolette: it's so beautiful! Trust me, photos don't do justice to their light!

They are 2.75 inches long - clasp excluded.

The Emerald hoops

These outstanding earrings are entirely hand-forged from various gauges of 925 sterling silver wire. Each hoop has been adorned with some beautiful gemstones of top quality.
The central gem is a stunning AAA Teal Fluorite pear briolette: its color is magical, as well as its quality and clarity! It is sparkling and incredibly transparent and has been embraced by a 925 sterling silver metal base, which reproduces its form, coiled with meters of fine 925 sterling silver wire.
Just below swings a beautiful Chrysoprase briolette wrapped with 925 sterling silver wire.
On both sides of the AAA Teal Fluorite pear briolette there are two Emerald Faceted Heart briolettes, 40 Carats, with a rich emerald green color which is gorgeous. The excellent faceting gives them a great sparkle. Simply stunning!
Finally I added some white freshwater pearls for a more elegant look.
The deep oxidation truly emphasizes the vivid colors and the splendor of these gorgeous gemstones. They look absolutely marvelous on the ears and are exceptionally comfortable to wear.
Measurements: they are 2.75 inches long (7cm) - extremely lightweight.

The Barolo HEART earrings

Defined as "the king of wines and the wine of kings'' because of its regal characteristics, this splendid Piemontese red is one of standard-bearers of Italian enology.
Barolo began acquiring its royal standing as early as the Middle Ages and its reputation steadily grew in succeeding periods. It was customary for sovereigns, as well as many nobles, to enrich their tables with classic Bordelais or Burgundian bottles of the wine. It is reported that Barolo was often found on the table of Louis XIV, while other admirers of the wine included King Charles Albert, the Marquises of Saluzzo and of Monferrato and Maria Cristina of Savoy.
Many other illustrious figures in history also contributed to the growth of the wine's reputation, chief among whom was Count Camillo Benso di Cavour. Cavour used to give dinners at which the wine was featured. He took a personal role in the making of the wine at his estate at Grinzane and the results he obtained were outstanding. In a short time, he became a highly expert grower and the Barolo of his vineyards was fully competitive with the finest French wines.
Pontiffs were also enchanted by the wine. At the beginning of the 19th century, Pius VII exclaimed, after having tasted an excellent Barolo: "Ah, La Morra! A beautiful sky and good wine!'' Afterward, he ensured that the wine was always available at his court and he drank it frequently.
Because of the absolute excellence of the quality of Barolo, there has never been any dearth of poets and writers to render homage to the wine.

Italian red wine is one of the thing I like most, especially when associated with delicious food!
These earrings have been inspired by the vibrant color of Barolo wine which is a deep and flamboyant red.
At first I shaped and hammered the heart and then coiled it with meters and meters of 925 solid sterling silver wire. I enriched it with many Karen silver faceted beads, an A grade ruby smooth bead and an A grade ruby faceted briolette which is truly magical and gives the whole silhouette a lot of majesty.
I also adorned the heart with a curvaceous “crown” 925 solid sterling silver wire! That’s great!
On both sides dangle dazzling A grade ametrine micro-faceted briolettes with lavender and champagne shades. Just below beautiful Bali silver cones, featuring very fine dots and circle details, top a cluster of some amazing beads: A grade ruby faceted briolettes and smooth beads, A grade citrine faceted rondelles, AA rich golden topaz micro-faceted briolettes, amethyst rondelles, deep pink tourmaline rondelles, garnet smooth beads, white and soft pink freshwater pearls and a big and stunning AA grade smoky quartz micro-faceted briolette with onion cut. Just beautiful!
They are my first Heart earrings and you can expect to see many of these, in various colors and sizes, in my shop in the coming months!

If you’re looking for an exclusive feminine jewel, this is your chance! They are simply breathtaking and full of sparkling gemstones of the very finest quality which stand out beautifully against the frame of oxidized sterling silver.
I first shaped, hammered and coiled the silver frame with an incredibly fine silver wire. Then I enriched it with some dazzling inky blue AA Iolite mirco-faceted rondelles with an extremely detailed faceting for maximum sparkle. I’ve also added some flashy blue fire gemmy AA labradorite faceted onion cut teardrop briolettes, whose colors and shades are magnificent! Finally I’ve added a smooth and shiny kyanite flat teardrops with gorgeous frosty royal-blue coloring: they have that wonderful chatoyancy that kyanite is known for and there are also some black inclusions that make each bead unique.
I’ve oxidized them to a rich charcoal patina, then rubbed and polished to show up some of the detail in the coiling.
Utterly stunning and one-of-a- kind!
Bali silver ear wires give them a very elegant look.

Allegria is an Italian word which means happiness and that’s exactly what I wanted to express with these rich and impressive earrings.
I first shaped and hammered the 925 sterling silver wire and then coiled it with meters and meters of 925 sterling silver wire of different gauges. One side has been enriched with curvaceous adornments made of solid silver wire, wrapped with fine sterling silver wire, while the other side has been embellished with some tiny brownish and greenish freshwater pearls embraced by a frame of sterling silver smooth beads. Between them swings harmoniously a big A grade amethyst marquise briolette, whose color is amazing!
Just below there’s a cluster of beautiful gemstones that melt together and produce a hymn to joy : AAA Spessartite Mandarin Garnet micro faceted briolettes, AA rich golden Topaz micro-faceted briolettes, AA grade Smoky Quartz micro-faceted briolette with onion cut, whose color is so deep and vivid, A Peridot faceted briolettes, AA Citrine micro faceted round beads, marvelous green Cubic Quartz micro-faceted rondelles and brownish and greenish freshwater pearls. This stunning necklace is inspired by one of the most popular painting of my favourite artist: Monet.

This necklace is purple and green, a colour combination that I adore! Beautiful and big faceted jasper beads, green turquoise rondelles, amethyst teardrops, crystals, sterling silver beads were wrapped in sterling and fine silver and enriched with inticate designs. Every single piece is unique in its shape and in its frame.
The whole piece was oxidised for a more romantique look.

The earposts are totally handmade and have been adorned with a tiny smooth amethyst round bead.

Wadi Rum is a desert valley cut into the sandstone and granite rock in southwest Jordan, full of large and imposing rock formations, all tinted slightly pink. It is the largest valley in Jordan. A vast, silent place, timeless and starkly beautiful.. Wadi Rum is one of Jordan's main tourist attractions being the most stunning desertscape in the World, lying 320 km southwest of Amman, 120 km south of Petra, and only 68 km north of Aqaba.
Uniquely shaped massive mountains rise vertically out of the pink desert sand, which separate one dark mass from another in a magnificent desert scenery of strange breathtaking beauty, with towering cliffs of weathered stone.. The faces of the sheer rock cliffs have been eroded by the wind into faces of men, animals and monsters.
Wadi Rum is probably best known because of its connection with the enigmatic British officer T.E. Lawrence, who was based here during the Great Arab Revolt of 1917-18, and as the setting for the film that carried his name "Lawrence of Arabia".
Everywhere in this moonscape place are indications of man's presence since the earliest known times. Scattered around are flint hand axes, while on the rocks at the feet of the mountains the names of ancient travellers are scratched. All around, there is emptiness and silence. This beautiful earrings have been purely inspired by summer fruits and especially by grape - which is one of my favourite! One of the things I like most in summer is to eat greap when you feel thisty..its sweetness is magical!

The top part of them were made thanks to Madgalena Borejko tutorial: I first shaped and hammered 20 gauge silver wire and then coiled the circles with meters and meters of 30 gauge silver wire (one of the thinnest!). I enriched this button earrings with some silver squared beads.
I wanted to give them some special touch and so I decided to use two huge green chalcedony faceted teardrops enriched with a cascade of tiny freshwater pearls - at Passementerie style (http://www.shoppassementerie.com/).

These precious beauties have been really time-consuming but I'm so proud of them!

I’ve always been fascinated by the Gothic style and these earrings have been highly influenced by it.
I first shaped and hammered the silver wire, then coiled it with fine sterling silver wire and enriched the frame with beautiful faceted Karen silver beads, with a very small flower pattern, and black faceted Swarovski crystal beads which add a lot of sparkles!
The central part is composed of compressed silver wire, then oxidised, and adorned with a flashy blue fire gemmy AA labradorite faceted onion cut teardrop briolette with magnificent blue/grey shades. Beneath swings an AAA onyx faceted long tear briolette, perfectly faceted and sparkly ( it measures 30x5mm).
These earrings are truly elegant and charming and perfect for any occasion.

Following a fashion trend of this fall/winter inspired by Russian costumes – that I simply and completely ADORE! - I’ve created these dazzling earrings based on white hues.

Passion Fruit - copper precious earrings

This tropical fruit is said to be named not for the passionate propensity it promotes but because particular parts of the plant's flowers resemble different symbols of Christ's crucifixion, such as the crown of thorns. Though native to Brazil, passion fruit (also called granadilla) is now also grown in Australia, California, Florida, Hawaii (where it's called lilikoi) and New Zealand. The most common variety marketed in the United States is egg-shaped and about 3 inches long. When ripe, it has a dimpled, deep-purple skin and a soft, golden flesh generously punctuated with tiny, edible black seeds. The flavor is seductively sweet-tart and the fragrance tropical and perfumy.

For this week theme - passion, chosen by Susanna from Susyq Jewelry - I decided to create a pair of earrings which remind this delicious fruit. The colours of these earrings are truly vivid and sparkling!

I first coiled a copper oval frame with bronze coloured copper wire and then enriched it with tiny A grade rhodolite pink garnet faceted rondelles, whose light is special!

In the upper middle of this precious frame I've put an AAA grade micro-faceted citrine briolette - fancy cut dolphin shape: its light and its shades are incredibly gorgeous!

Just below a cascade of A grade faceted citrine briolettes and fuschia sparkling swarosky crystals.

At the very end I wanted to add a special sparkling touch: a cultured white rough coin shaped pearl, whose shades are fabulous!

They're 2.36 inches ( 6 cm) long - ear wires ecluded (real copper french wire earring hooks with coil and daisy).

This bangle, inspired by Eni Oken’s tutorial (www.enioken.com) has the colour of the homonymous bird, which is one of the most fascinating birds in the world: beautiful and big faceted czech crystals in the tones of orange and ligth brown, shiny bali copper beads with oxidized ridges, fuchsia swarovski crystal beads and faceted roundelles, tiny copper finish crystals...all these beauties are mounted in a wire-wrapped frame made of pure copper wire, of different gauges, copper smooth round beads and fuchsia 4mm Swarovski bicone crystals.

That's exactly what I wanted to do when I created this necklace..it contains the deepest and the most intricate part of me and of my soul.

The central part is made of copper wire, of different gauges, shaped into a dainty circle enriched with tiny freshwater pearls and light green tourmaline faceted roundelles. The center is made of a stunning white high luster freshwater coin pearl with smooth surface. Everything is embraced by copper wire shaped into a grapevine motif.

Just below a stunning beauty dangles: a triumph of green and sparkling tourmaline roundelles, freshwater pearls which top an amazing onion cut deep brown smoky quartz briolette.

The chain is enriched with big labradorite roundelles and freshwater coin pearls.
The chain measures 11.41 in (29 cm) and the pendant is 3.93 in (10 cm) long.

The pendand has been oxidised for a more dramatic look!

A Glorious Moonlit Night

It was upon a glorious moonlit night,
When my eyes first beheld your eyes.
Despite the latest hour of twilight,
Light from the heavens shown done to my surprise.

A fitting beam for such a divine angel,
With shining blond hair and handsome smile.
Could this prosper? Only time could tell.
You placed your hand in mine and we stayed a while.

Not a sound nor descent of sky,
Could distract me from your charming ways.
We strolled 'till the moon was no longer nigh,
If this is all but a reverie, don't wake me from this phase.

For to me love was once not conceived,
But upon this glorious moonlit night, I believe.

I think that moonlit nights are so, so romantic and give us the the chance to express our desires, especially the ones which come from the bottom of our heart and soul..

So, another week theme challenge jewel - nocturnal. I wanted to create a very intricate bangle based on dark colours, apart from the central part, the moon.
I used meters of sterling silver wire in different gauges and many silver beads of different sizes.
In the middle I've put 2 white agate faceted teardrops - the moon - with a frame of silver squared beads and tiny labradorite rondelles. Immediately after the "moon" there are 2 wonderful faceted lapis lazuli round beads with a frame of tiny dark amethyst round beads.
At the end of the bangle I used two amazing peacock round button pearls.
I heavily oxidised it to give it a more romantic look!

This bangle is 7.87 inches long - clasp included - and it was made with lot, lot of love!

Iguazu Falls - pure silver and labradorite earrings

Iguazú Falls is undoubtedly the most visited place in Misiones and one of the most imposing natural attractions in Argentina, and why not in South America. In guarani language, the term "Iguazú" means "great waters". It was discovered in 1541 by Alvar Núñez Cabeza de Vaca and established in 1984 as Natural World Heritage Site by UNESCO.
Situated in Iguazú National Park, some 20 km. from Puerto Iguazú in the north of the province, these falls are shared by Brazil and Argentina.
Iguazú river is born in Paraná state in Brazil, and after crossing 1,200 km. on a plateau where it receives several affluents, it reaches a fault forming a crack in the interleaved layers of sandstone and basalt where the river runs.
This river runs through a smooth geography until it reaches a series of faults, and suddenly an 80 m. canyon in the Devil's Throat where the water produces a thundering sound and then drains into the Parana river.
A legend says that a big snake called "Boi" lived in the river. To calm its ferocity, aborigines sacrificed a woman every year as an offering. But once a brave guarani aborigin kidnapped the woman and saved her from the traditional rite escaping through the river. Boi burst in anger, bent its body and split the river forming the cataracts separating the man and the woman.

These intricate and rich earrings have been inspired by this wonderful natural place.
To create them I used meters and meters of pure silver wire of different gauges, tons of flashy blue fire gemmy AA labradorite faceted onion cut teardrop briolettes, tiny freshwater pearls and silver beads of different sizes.

The flower earposts are silver plated ~ definitely gorgeous!

They're 2.36 inches/6 cm long ~ from the bottom of the earposts.

Oxidation gives a special charm to them and makes the labradorite stand out greatly!
