This brooch is part of my 1/2 price end of season clearance sale. Resin brooch with carved pattern covered with gold leaf to make the brooch appear translucent at all times and is imbedded with a uromastyx lizard's shedded skin. What a great accessory for Halloween. Back of the brooch is sterling silver with a scaly cut out pattern fastened with push pin findings. 2 1/4 inches tall by 1 1/2 inches wide.

This bangle is made with a color bleeding process that I believe I invented. I cannot say it with certainty because I have not seen all resin work but I showed it to a highly respected resin artist and she said that she did not think anyone was doing this type of work. My work focuses on colors that are found in African and Caribbean fabrics. Due to the complexity of this process colors may vary slightly from the image. Please allow for a 21 day delivery time.

Bangle measures 3" x 5" x .12" however I can make the interior diameter to fit your size.

This bracelet requires 7 separate resin pours and a two hour hand finishing process. I start with a 320 grit sandpaper and then I step up to 400, 600, 800, 1200, 2000, and 400 grit.

It is featured in an upcoming Lark Book "500 Plastic Jewelry Designs" due out September of 2009.
