this is a new necklace in my cut-out series and i love it!
it seems my love of nature has been shared by many this season!

i draw each design right onto the sterling silver and then cut it out by hand with my saw. each one is different and unique... just like us.

the negative space also lets this necklace match anything you're wearing. either your skin shows through, or you shirt does!

the pendant measures approx. 1.5" long and approx. 1.5" tall.
the sterling necklace is 17" long but can be made any length as per your request for no extra charge. it is finished with a silver lobster claw clasp that is wired on for extra security.

2 birds on a skinny tree branch ... necklace in sterling silver

these are some of my favorite necklaces to make. each little bird and tree branch arrives on my sterling sheet via a black sharpie. i draw out each design and then hand cut them. each one is uniquely different.

this piece is sterling silver and measures approx. 1 3/4" tall by 1 1/4" wide.
the chain is sterling as well, 17" long, and has a wonderful magnetic clasp that is super strong! i use them on all of my personal necklaces as well and i love them!
chain can come in any length... just leave your preference in the 'notes to seller' at checkout.

i was a glass blower for 5 years and still have a huge yearning for it. i love watching talented glass artists
push the envelope of creativity.
at gathering of the vibes festival this summer i ran into ben birney, a talented glass blower, and we started talking glass. kinda. i was talking rocks, stones, crystals..
but i wanted him to make them out of glass for me. best of both worlds, right?

he made these little beauties by forming a marble first, and then using lapidary equipment to terminate the glass like a crystal would naturally. like a large facet. when you peer down inside, you see the colored glass design like in a marble, but from the sides, it looks like a big crystal.
this is the very first one and i love it!
look for more to come in different designs and shapes.

someone once told me that variety was the spice of life.
but i think that style is spice of life.
style is what sets us apart.
i like simple yet edgy. clean but whimsical.
i like my turquoise to have some spice.
lines, veins, matrix... attitude.

Raven's Wing Necklace... not for the shy

before i became a silver smith, i was doing a lot of beading. a lot. and then i moved on to wire wrapping.
this necklace goes back to my roots and encompasses all the jewelry skills i've learned along the way.
each bead is linked to it's neighbors creating a tight spiral chain with no actual chain at all.
i made each and every sterling head pin from which hang:
potato pearls in three different shades of gold and green, baby raven's wing pearls, faceted citrine, faceted labradorite briolettes (stunning) and little accent beads of iolite and labradorite.
and holding it all together are five large teardrops of labradorite. all held around your neck by a magnetic clasp that is made by mag-lock and super super strong!! i love them, and so do women with arthritis or long finger nails!

this necklace is 16" long but can be made any length by request. please allow 2-3 weeks for delivery as this is made to order.

i don't usually play favorites. but i can't help it this time... i think this is my favorite new cut-out piece. the sharpie just felt right in my hand this day and the picture practically drew itself. it has depth and attitude... like us.
then i cut it out by hand with a tiny little saw blade and viola! let your shirt show thru or wear it up against your skin... either way it will always match what you have on.

the pendant is aprox. 1.5" x 1" and is finished with a 17" sterling chain and a super strong magnetic clasp by mag-lock.

electric ... tourmaline ring, size 7.5

electric blue tourmaline, faceted and beautiful. i've set it among layers of sterling with accents around the edges, oxidized to highlight the detail. during fabrication i decided that this slice of tourmaline is deserving of a fitting name... like electric. so it's name is stamped on the inside of the band... our little secret.

i've been really influenced, this year especially, by the ocean, sushi, fish of all kinds.. octopi. and it's all been coming out in my work over the last year.. this is a new series where the suckers on the octopus legs, and the bright roe on top of my sushi, and the ancient ocean creatures all come together and tell their story in my work.

this ring is a size 7.5, seven and a half, but can be made slightly larger if needed.
