Hand forged mild steel belt buckle. The skull is white enamel on a black enamel background that I fired on in a gas forge at 1500 degrees. The backing is fabricated steel and the whole thing is treated with a wax sealant.

It measures 3”x 2” and fits belts up to 1 3/4".

This hand forged and fabricated pair of damascus cufflinks consists of 150 layers of 6 different types of metal. It has been etched to create a rich, deep texture. The backing is mild steel and each piece is treated with a high quality Renaissance wax sealant.

These cufflinks measure 3/8"x just over a 1/2".

Here's a little overview on damascus for you. Damascus, or pattern welded steel, is a process by which different kinds of metals(wrought iron, nickel silver, mild steel, various tool steel alloys, etc.) are stacked and fire welded into a billet. The billet is then cut and re-stacked multiple times until it reaches between 100-200 layers. It is then drawn out, manipulated to create different patterns, shaped, polished, and then finally etched to bring out the contrasting colors of the different metals. Don't you feel smarter now for knowing all that?

This pin-up is made up of hundreds of individually cut pieces of 1/16" stainless steel rod that has been attached to an acrylic sheet using industrial adhesive processes. The backing plate is mild steel that has been weathered to create a rich rust patina. All work has been done by hand.

This piece measures 14"x 14" with hanging brackets to allow it to "float" off the wall 3/4".

It has been sealed with a lacquer finish for protection and preservation.
