The Los Angeles Metropolitan Transit Authority (MTA) was a public agency formed in 1951 and ultimatly reorganized in 1964.
During the MTA's tenure, the last remaining rail transit lines in Los Angeles were abandoned and replaced with bus service, the last former Pacific Electric line in 1961, and the last former Los Angeles Railway lines in 1963.

tokens are approx. 5/8" in diameter. mounted on vintage silver cufflinks.(tokens may differ slightly from picture)

his handmade necklace is created with care from the movement of a antique ELGIN watch. this movement is dated to 1888. over 110 years old! this watch is in great and shiny condition.

only 1000 of this model was produced making this truly a unique and OOAK necklace

XL large watch movement. approximately 1 3/8" in diameter. bright and shiny flat despite its age. awesome deco engravings, floral patterns and designs.

the movement is suspended with a sterling plated bail on either an 18" sterling silver chain or a 18" vintage 1960's brass chain. you decide.

Elgin was founded in 1864, right as the civil war was coming to an end. The first watch Elgin made, an 18 sized B W Raymond railroad grade watch, was finished in 1867 and over the next 100 years, they went on to produce about 60 million watches. his handmade necklace is created with care from the movement of a antique VASDA watch.

approximately 5/8" x 1 1/8". great patina and shape.

the movement is suspended with a sterling plated bail on a standard silver chain or wire choker. you can substitute the wire for or a 14" vintage 1960's brass chain, sterling chain (for an additional $3.50) if you let me know when you order.

this vintage SCOTCH label necklace is simple and straight up, no useless beads and accents. made from a vintage federal style decanter label, the tag is brought back to use.

the pewter tag is about 2 1/4" across and 1 1/4" high. it hangs on a 16" silver chain.

back is stamped "royal holland pewter"
