The double flaming heart pendant features two high relief flaming hearts with deep texture, one superimposed on the other. Suitable for a man or woman, with lots of sculpted detail and deep oxidation it looks like it's been around forever. It measures approximately 1-1/2" from top to bottom, 1" and side to side.

A LITTLE ABOUT ME & BRAVE RELICS:

This is jewelry you won't see anywhere else, because I make it myself, one at a time in my own studio, to my own standards.

After years working with some of the best known names on 5th Avenue I got tired of designing "fine" jewelry and decided to go out on my own to make what I really love: talismanic, crazy jewelry, archaic interplanetary jewelry, jewelry with its own story. I like pieces which haven't been denatured like most of what you see in the shop windows, pieces which still show the hand of the maker, substantial pieces, full of texture and character, and a little bit of wonder built in.

As a gemologist you can be sure the stones I use are correctly represented, and expertly chosen. I'm always looking for unusual and special stones which I enjoy combining in unexpected ways. We tend to forget that these are products of the earth. The stones I like to use have some of that character still evident.

Custom designs are welcome, or you may have an old piece of jewelry which has been sitting around for years because the style doesn't suit you. Perhaps you'd like to use the stones in a new piece more to your taste. Feel free to contact me with any questions or requests.

"Green Amethyst" also known as "Prasiolite" is a green quartz, essentially the same as other forms of quartz such as the more familiar purple Amethyst, and yellow Citrine. The green color is developed in some quartz crystals by heat treating either human induced or, less commonly, as a result of natural exposure. On the California-Nevada border, green quartz is found in clusters of crystals. High temperatures from volcanoes is said to have been responsible for the color change.
