Punch and Judy Puppet Theater Brooch

$100.00
Now you see them, now you don't!

This handmade brooch is actually a miniature puppet theater with moving parts!

Pull the sterling silver lever on either side of the brooch and Punch and Judy disappear behind the curtains.
Push the lever and they come back on stage. Gently jiggle the lever and watch them dance.

Sorry, but singing, plot, script, and jokes, will have to be supplied by you! (but just imagine the fun!)

This brooch is created from a carefully hand built shadow box, colorful vintage images, two hand cut panes of Mica, sterling silver solder, a little imagination, a dash of mechanical engineering, and a lot of time!

Mica is used in this piece instead of glass to give a unique antiqued look and to keep the final piece light in weight.

The pin backing has two attached silver 'butterfly' rings so that it can be worn as a pendant as well.

This miniature theater is truly a unique brooch that is great fun to wear!

Measures approx. 2 1/2 inches tall and 1 1/2 inches across.

$80.00
Can you guess what famous beach my Bathing Beauty Necklace is being modeled at in the photo on the right?

Read on to find out...

Hiding inside the colorful striped cabana in this necklace is a vintage bathing beauty wearing an adorable 'swim costume'.

Pull gently on the silver filagree knob on the side of the pendant and the bathing beauty appears! Push the knob and she goes back inside the cabana! Yes, she really moves!

This whimsical necklace starts out life as a tiny hand built shadowbox.

The cabana beach scene is then carefully (and painstakingly!) created inside.

Next it is delicatley sandwiched between two panes of hand cut glass.

Finally it is soldered in this beautiful scallop pattern using sterling silver solder.

The back of this unique pendant features a vintage Coney Island postcard.

One of my customers recently had this to say about her Bathing Beauty Necklace:

"OH MY GOSH! It's like being hounded by the Paparazzi when I wear this, I can't get anyone to leave me alone...do it again...show her...how does that work again....Thank you so much I love it!" (You can read this comment and more from my happy customers in the 'feedback' section of my shop.)

WARNING: If you are shy this might not be the necklace for you!

P.S.
Did you guess what beach was in the photo?

It is Waikiki Beach in Hawaii. (The bathing beauty modeling the necklace is my own adorable daughter.)

Necklace Approx.Dimensions:1 1/2 inches tall,1 inch across, 3/8 inch deep.

Your Fortune Teller Necklace

$90.00

Do you remember telling your friends fortunes in grade school?

A pencil, a paper, and a little imagination were all that was needed to answer life's big questions...Who will you marry? How many kids will you have? (The bigger the number, the louder the laughter!)

Even long ago this was a popular pastime as evidenced by the great vintage images in this necklace which came from an early 1900's fortune teller game.

The outer circle in this pendant has the most adorable symbols representing your future husband’s occupation. The stack of coins represents a banker, the anchor for a merchant, a barrel keg for a 'hotelier'?

The inner circle contains numbers for how many children you will have. There are even two spaces with illustrations of multiple swaddeled babies to signify twins or triplets!

Gently twist the beautiful silver filagree knob on the back of the necklace to turn the spinner and reveal your future!

There is also a ‘key’ on the back to decipher the occupation symbols for your future husband.

This necklace would make a charming gift for a childhood friend but heed this warning: You may want to order two, as many customers have reported (confessed) that this necklace was ordered as a gift, but once it arrived they couldn't part with it! If you want continued friendship in your future, plan ahead and order two!

Made with Sterling Silver solder, vintage images, silver findings, and hand cut glass.

Approx. Dimensions: 1 ½ inches by 1 ½ inches. Just over ¼ inch deep.
This whimsical headband is my very first hair accessory.

Delicate arcs of silver wire are accented beautifully with this graceful trio of acrobats.

Tumbling and diving in their vintage yellow costumes each acrobat is accented with gold glitter and placed inside a hand built diamond shaped shadowbox. A tiny pane of hand cut glass is placed on top and then soldered using sterling silver solder in a beautiful scallop pattern.

This handmade artistic headband has just enough sparkle to catch the eye. My daughter wore it recently to a graduation, (see photo), and she received raves about it all day! Truly a unique accessory to liven up your wardrobe and turn heads in your direction!

With this Orphan Annie Decoder Necklace, a working decoder that actually spins, you can find out. (One of Annie's actual coded messages will be included in your order!)

Although Annie's secret decoder pins were originally made of metal and came in a solid brass color, the colorful paper version used in this necklace was issued in 1942, a result of metal shortages from World War II.

Made from a hand built shadow box, hand cut glass, and beautifully scalloped sterling silver solder, this necklace is a little piece of history and whimsy all in one.

Whether you use it to send your own top secret message, decipher one of Annies, or simply wear it, this necklace is sure to be a treasured favorite!

Best of all- you don't have to drink a single glass of Ovaltine to get it!
Circus Train Polar Bear Charm

Here comes the circus train…

When I found these old circus images, they looked like they should be pasted on the side of a boxcar from a circus train. So of course, I could not rest until I created a train full of boxcars to paste them on!

Each little car starts with a handbuilt shadow box. Next the vintage images are carefully cut and used to create a three dimensional scene inside. The car is then encased in handcut glass and soldered together in a beautiful scallop pattern. The sterling silver solder even creates bars for the cage!

The backside of this charm features a vintage polar bear ad for the Hagenbeck Circus. The inside of the boxcar is an icy wonderland…home of the polar bears!

This charm can be added to a bracelet, brooch, or even worn alone on a chain as a pendant.

And yes, of course the wheels really spin!

Approx. Dimensions: Just over 1 inch across, just under ¾ inch tall.
So of course, I could not rest until I had created a train full of boxcars to plaster them on!

Each little car starts with a handbuilt shadow box.
Next the tiny circus animal scene is created inside. A colorful baboon sits in the corner, a monkey dressed in coat and hat balances atop a ball…
The train car is then encased in handcut glass and soldered in a delicate scallop pattern using Sterling Silver solder.
There are even tiny soldered silver bars to keep these wild animals safely inside!

Decorative silver train wheels have been added and yes, to ensure that this is truly a JamieNoel, I built tiny little axles so that the wheels can really spin.

The backside of this 'primate car' features a vintage circus poster ad for the Hagenbeck Circus.

This colorful piece can be added to a bracelet as a charm, worn on a pin as a brooch, or put on a chain as a pendant for a necklace that will definately be noticed.

Approx. Dimensions: Just over 1 inch across, just under ¾ inch tall.
