Vintage Green Cactus Salt and Pepper Shakers

$8.00
I found these wonderful vintage salt and pepper shakers a few years ago at a flea market on Boston's North Shore. I've been very picky about which s&p shakers to add to my collection since I started it, and I love these two! I think they're so cute and funny!

But, as it is, I currently live in a teeny tiny apartment and my poor little collection has been stuffed in a box for months and months. I decided it was time to let them go live with someone who could display them and fully appreciate them. (They deserve that!)

Here are the details:

These s&p shakers are ceramic. One has a cork still in place in the bottom hole, while the cork in the other has been pushed through and is stuck inside. One cactus features six holes on the top, while the other has nine. Both are stamped Made In Japan on the bottom. They are 2 inches tall and 1 1/2 inches across the widest point. You will notice in the first photo that the cactus on the right has a weird flaw that must have happened before glazing. There appears to be no damage from wear. They are in wonderful vintage condition.

Please let me know if you have any questions.
