A shriveled old lady came around the other day asking about the excavation. She gave me this in return for a look at the progress and she said that if you gaze into it on a full moon, you'll see your life laid out before you.

A thin slice of log has been refinished with a glossy black surface to make a perfect scrying mirror. Bark has been left intact and finished in order to preserve it in it's natural beauty. The back has been left untouched to allow for the addition of the seer's own symbols.

Bear in mind that this is wood, not glass... so while the surface is shiny and deep, there are natural 'irregularities' like you might find in a natural crystal ball.

Scrying is a form of divination that involves staring into a deep surface and allowing images or symbols to come to mind. A black mirror creates a very deep surface that is easy to get lost in - and is the traditional scrying tool of a witch.

Comes with a torn parchment note with the above text, tied with hemp twine. Does not include any of the photo props.

The thin copper painted strip around the outside of the black portion in the picture can be any color you would like. If you don't send me a color with your order, I will make it copper, like the picture.

How to Burn :

2. Wait for the tiny orange sparks to move all the way across the tablet.
3. Drop a pinch of loose incense onto the charcoal.

A pinch lasts for several minutes and the scent can last for hours.

I was going through my Closet O' Essences and I found some that I simply must refresh. I threw them all into the rubbish bin but what emerged was anything but rubbish! These powders do some of the most incredible things! But be wary... they are potent.

Dragonscale Finish Futhark Runes

Hand fired clay rune stone with hand painted elder futhark characters. The backs have been given a 'dragonscale' finish - deep green with a golden sheen. The edges are antique gold.

Runes are a divination method similar to tarot. Each rune has a particular meaning and depending upon how it lands and where it lands, that meaning can affect the overall meaning of the reading. This style of reading is very easy to learn.

Fairy tales come alive in THIS book! :)

A cardboard book painted and refinished by hand to be a detailed replica, including pages, creases and worn edges, is decoupaged with a vintage fairy back cover. The inside of the book is covered in various fairy tales in renaissance-like writing on parchment.

The nature fairy appears to float in the center of the book. She wears handmade wings and a skirt embellished with brown to match.

The door behind her is an actual fairy door, said to be a portal between the fairy realm and our own. It is handcrafted and behind it, barely visible, is a vintage painting of a line of fairies waiting to come through.

A moss covered bottom and a miniature fox add the finishing touches to this fantastic fairy tale piece.

'Copper' is broken on two sides allowing you to see straight through. Subtle highlights make 'Copper' shimmer and shine in any light. The inside of the bottle is green. Although 'Copper' is pictured in several images without it's top, you can see it's top clearly in one of the images.

'POW!' is is a crosshatch metallic silver with deep red detailing along each crack. It has a small silver dragon with red detailing on the front just below the neck. It got it's name because it's break spot, along with the red along each of the cracks makes it look as if it could have been injured whilst being punched by a comic book hero.

'Soft' is a clear bottle with a platinum finish. The cork has been completely covered with tiny iridescent beads. A frazzled iridescent yarn wrapped neck gives this burner a soft but retro feel. It's gorgeous in the sun - the inside appears streaked with beige and the outside glimmers and shines.

'green and Gold' is a green bottle with pieces of gold broken glass jutting out from the inside. Each crack in this bottle glimmers a soft green/yellow without any touch ups. It's beautiful in sunlight! it's topped with a wire wrapped glass bead.

This bottle currently resides about 45 miles from me in a shop in San Diego. Shipping cost includes cost to pick the bottle up. If you are in the area and would prefer to avoid shipping costs altogether and pick the bottle up yourself, let me know and we can make arrangements!
