This necklace is inspired by the play Wicked. EtsyRain has a challenge this month to make something inspired by the Wizard of Oz or any spin off of that movie.

I have always believed that the Wicked of Witch of the West was gravely misunderstood and always trying to break free from her dysfuntional family....

This is the reason why I dedicate the "Wicked" necklace to the Wicked Witch of the West.

I hope you enjoy this piece as much I did making it.

African Jasper Pendant strung on a small piece of silver plated chain, 4 (2 green & 2 black) glass beads hand wrapped with silver craft wire.

Yes, you are right Apollonia is a singer from the 80's and was Prince's love interest in Purple Rain. Seattle EtsyRain's latest challenge was to make something inspired by Purple Rain.
