Marie and Louis Crystal Key Violet Cameo Necklace

A decadent fashion necklace inspired by Marie Antoinette and her husband, King Louis XVI of France (who was fascinated with locks and keys).

40 x 30mm purple resin cameo with the image of a beautifully dressed rococo-style maiden in white. Cameo is framed by a flowery vintage silver-tone setting.

Large key charm, 2 3/4", sparkles with clear crystals.
Sterling silver toggle closure at the back with detailed floral design.

My favorite detail is a single carved amethyst heart/leaf bead. This purple gemstone has long been associated with spiritual properties and is thought to prevent over-indulgence (a peaceful token, I thought, for the notoriously extravagant Marie Antoinette).

Necklace measures approximately 23".
Gorgeous vintage plastic beaded chain (from 60's, made in Japan) with creamy baroque pearls mixed with faceted clear acrylic (imitating crystal) and milky lilac lucite beads (imitating jade).

Parisian Lariat Eiffel Tower Necklace

A 32 1/2" rope of antique copper color swirl chain, with wonderful charms at each end.
Simply tie this lariat necklace around your neck and adjust to create a unique look.

On one end of the chain you have a 1 1/2" classic Eiffel Tower charm, aged brass with a beautiful teal green distressed verdigris finish. It hangs under a vintage European glass button (from the 1930's or 40's), with a bumpy molded surface that sparkles like champagne bubbles, and an aged coppery gold finish on the back.

Dangling at the other end of the chain is a delightful stack of glass and filigree beads, including a 10mm dark green, faceted fire polished czech glass bead with black edges.
These textured beads bring to mind the detailed iron work of the Eiffel tower.

Other components include a vintage pink sequin layered with the beads, and a tiny "pearl light" Czech glass druk bead with a clear, mint green glow.

A cool piece of fashion jewelry with antique appeal!

Under a curved bar of palest pink glass pearls dangles a swirling world of green, a vintage 1950's lucite cabochon marbled with mint, white, and sparkles of golden glitter.

The 25 x 18mm cabochon rests in smooth frame with an antique copper finish.
Delicate reddish brown vintage chain ends in a delicate toggle clasp.(Clasp is easy to fasten by yourself, but I would suggest practicing with it a couple of times before putting it on behind your neck.)
Necklace is about 17mm in length.

Part of my Light Classical Collection, a playful tribute to ancient Greek and Roman style.

The Roman name "Aurelia" comes from the Latin word for "golden", which is a fitting description of this lovely tassel necklace.

The 30mm pendant is a clear, vintage plastic bead with the raised profile of a woman, detailed in gold, on both sides. The flowers in her hair are echoed by a frosty lucite flower and pretty filigree bead cap at the top of the tassel.

The gold plated necklace measures approximately 18", closes with a lobster claw clasp, and has a generous 3" extender chain that is decoratively finished with a playful beaded dangle (a white dolomite marble bead and a clear glass melon bead striped with gold).

This necklace was directly inspired by statues in the gardens at the Getty Villa museum in Malibu, California.

Nestled on either side of a garden walkway are two small black deer (reproductions of Roman bronze sculptures from the Villa dei Papiri, Herculaneum).

A petite, hollowback brass deer charm has been painted black and sealed (take ordinary care not to scratch the finish).
The deer dangles under a vintage black and white lucite bead with an elaborate pattern (evoking a decorative floor design seen by the garden benches where the deer statues stand).

The 31 1/2" opera length necklace is made from rich black vintage enameled brass charm chain from Japan, with gleaming golden baubles.

It fastens in back with a gold plated lobster claw clasp.

This necklace celebrates Pegasus, the heroic winged horse who was immortalized by Zeus as a constellation.

A brass stamped charm pendant, portraying Pegasus in a glorious framework amid the clouds, has been painted white, slightly distressed, and sealed (take ordinary care not to scratch the painted finish).

A luminous, vintage pink carnival glass bead with an iridescent finish hangs above the charm at the center of the necklace.

Sky blue faceted glass beads dangle on gold plated paddle pins, like drops of water from the inspiring springs that were said to burst forth wherever Pegasus struck his hoof.

This cameo ring is named for Juno, the Queen of the Gods in Roman mythology. She is a patroness of marriage, a protector of women during childbirth, and the powerful (sometimes jealous) wife of Jupiter.

A 25x18mm resin cameo, with an albaster white image (a woman with an intense gaze, wearing a diadem, or royal headband) on a subtle gray background.

The cameo is framed by a silver plated ring setting with a lace edge. The band is adjustable.

A dangling white dolomite marble bead, attached with a wire-wrapped loop, adds a unique element.

This ring captures the cool grace of marble and the commanding presence of Juno.

This ring was inspired by the myth of Midas, a legendary king known for his beautiful rose garden and his wish to transform whatever he touched into gold.

Nestled like a teardrop in the center of this golden rose is a tiny, blue-green glass bead.
Rose petals are nicely textured, band is adjustable.

King Midas came to have second thoughts about his desire for gold, and learned to be careful what he wished for...
