This is an original drawing done in black charcoal on handmade paper. The texture of the paper gives the drawing interesting markings, as if the skin was textured itself. The drawing is approximately 5 x 7 inches. Do to the nature of handmade paper, the size and thickness of the paper is not perfect.

Do you always loose track of your receipts? If you are anything like me they are crumpled up in my pockets, the bottom of my purse and the back of the closet with some sand and some pennies. Fear disorganization no more!

This snazzy little book is designed to keep track of your receipts each month. The book is made from 12 white envelopes wire bound together with an upcycled cardboard mailer envelope as the cover. Each inner envelope has been stamped with the name of the month for super-easy filing! The cover is decorated with some lovely stamps in a vintage postal theme.

The uses of this book are not limited to the organization of pesky pieces of paper. Use it to keep treasures, for recipes, as a scrapbook, to hold bills, for homework, for mail, for photos, for Etsy transactions, for your stamp collection... the possibilities are endless.

Do you ever travel through the city and look into each window and ponder who lives there? I sure do!

This little house is a part of my new Chicago row-house inspired urban neighborhood!

Each house is an original, painted and drawn on an original 1979 land zoning map of the Chicagoland area. Each home is 5 x 8 inches, although it would be easy to crop to fit into a 5 x 7 inch frame. The vintage map surface is old and is slightly yellowed. Each house varies slightly in style, color, and size making each drawing a unique creation! Be sure to collect them all! Check back soon for I will be posting them over the next few weeks!
