These "Leaves of Labrador" earrings feature two beads of the stone Labradorite and long, slender silver feather-like leaves.

Labradorite has its origins in the province of Labrador in Canada. When my husband and I took our honeymoon to Newfoundland in September, we drove up to the tip of the island. Across the water, we could see Labrador, as if we could walk across the water to it. It was very windy and chilly up in that area in September... the leaves on these earrings remind me of the leaves we saw flying on the wind near Labrador in Autumn.

Hanging from silver plated ear hooks, these dangle earrings shine in the light and sometimes you can catch a glimpse of an iridescent rainbow inside of the Labradorite stones.

It started out as an experiment in early 2005 with throwing color randomly on a page. I eventually finished the painting in the end of 2007 and this was the result. It makes me think of a dream, where you are in the water, floating below further and further. At first it is frightening, but then you find yourself in a state of spiritual contentment, surrounded by color and light.

I think this pattern may have been first printed around the time it came out. The outer packaging is a little beat on this one, but the pattern and directions are unused and in great condition! This pattern includes pieces for 3 different styles of dresses. Includes pieces for dresses, arm gauntlets, hair net, and veil. This pattern is for sizes 16, 18 and 20 (38-42" bust).

This pattern is out of print! Get it now while you can.

This listing is for McCall's M5414 Misses' and Girls' Early America Dress Costume pattern. It's not a historically accurate costume, but it generally seems to represent women's fashion from sometime in the 1800's or possibly 1900's. It is a bell shaped dress with 3/4 bell sleeves and bows down the front of the bodice. This pattern includes sizes X-Small to Large, which would fit older girls and most women.

I have not made this pattern before, so I do not have any advice for it. But, I have used McCall's before and I generally find their patterns easy to follow.

I once made version C of this top, but that was about 5 years ago. But, from what I remember it wasn't too difficult to make. I used a different envelope though! This pattern I'm listing is a duplicate of the one I already had and I don't need two. :-)

This is a digital reproduction of an original watercolor painting I did titled "Drowning in Ether". It is digitally printed on 8.5" x 11" white card stock. The picture itself is 6" x 8" in size. This particular piece is a painting that took me nearly three years to complete. I originally started it back in the beginning of 2005. I did not complete it until December of 2007. The space between the work made for an interesting experience as I could actually see a difference in the way I painted. My style of creating faces has changed some. The original face is the green one at the top, which I added to later to balance out the whole painting. The new face, created in 2007 is the bottom purple one.

The painting started as an experiment in textures. I threw a bunch of color down in splatters, puddles and streaks. This is the final result from that start. Various brushes, sponges, salt, water and fingers created the strokes of color.
