I used high pressure to print, so the design is also embossed in the paper, giving it added dimension. It is signed on the back by the artist.

This print is hand-pulled from a woodblock that I carved by hand. It is printed with Akua Intaglio ink on hosho, a Japanese paper, with a delicately torn edge. It is signed on the back by the artist and numbered from a limited edition of ten.

Points of Contact is a series of intaglio prints about being alone. Some characters find comfort in various types of contact or simulated contact, such as video games, television, or simply curling up in fetal position, while other characters have awkward social interactions, feeling most alone when surrounded by others.

The portfolio includes a hand-made portfolio case made of archival book board and blue book cloth. It opens to a gray handmade folder printed with the words "Points of Contact." The case holds 8 etchings printed with a black oil-based ink on Rives BFK paper with a delicately torn edge. Please see items labeled "No. 1-No. 8 from Points of Contact" for a closer look at the prints. There is also a numbered, signed collophon, which is printed with a small self-portrait. Sheets of mulberry rice paper are interleafed between the prints in the portfolio.

This is a picture of a tree in a field in central Illinois near where my grandparents live. They have lived out in the country for years and years, but little by little, the town has grown and developers have bought up the farmland. In this print, I wanted to capture some of the isolation, wildness, and freedom of the landscape before it is developed.

Etching printed with oil-based black intaglio printing ink on Canson art paper with torn edges. The paper is lilac with a delicate pattern of inclusions that echoes the expressive lines of the image.

I drew this design and cut it by hand from Yupo, a synthetic paper. It has been inked with layers of blue printmaking ink to create color and pattern. The artwork is sandwiched between two panes of glass for a dramatic effect. When on display, light casts shadows of the design on the wall behind it.

This is a gelatin monotype, a one of a kind image printed using unflavored gelatin (like jello!) as a printing surface. I design and cut tree shapes to use as stencils, roll ink onto my gelatin plate, place the stencils, and print. I repeat this process, using a new color and the same shapes in a new arrangement, building up the print in layers.

I drew this design and cut it by hand from Yupo, a synthetic paper. It has been inked with layers of orange and blue printmaking ink to create color and pattern. It is inked orange-brown on the reverse for added interest. The artwork is sandwiched between two panes of glass for a dramatic effect. When on display, light casts shadows of the design on the wall behind it.

Using gelatin as a printing surface, I printed a blue and white water pattern for the background. The dark red lotus flower is printed from a wood block that I carved by hand.Printing using Akua Kolor and Akua Intaglio inks on hosho (Japanese paper) with a delicately torn/deckled edge. Signed on the back by the artist and number from an edition of 6. Ships in an archival, cellophane envelope with illustration board for extra protection.

This is a woodblock monoprint, a one-of-a kind piece, printed from original, hand-carved woodblocks. I used two separate blocks and printed in layers using Akua Intaglio inks on hosho, Japanese printmaking paper, with a delicately torn edge. The girl and dog are printed in dark, dark violet that is almost black.

Signed on the back and labeled one-of-a-kind.

Ships in an archival cellophane envelope with matboard or foamcore for extra support.
