ACEO Original Butterfly

ACEO (Art Cards, Editions and Originals), a specific size of artwork that measures 2.5 X 3.5 inches. Very collectible item to keep in an album, or display them on your fridge, group them in a wall montage or display alone. Very flexible art form and a way to inexpensively own original art.

This is one of a kind, an ACRYLIC painting on sturdy 140 lb. watercolor paper. It is titled, signed and dated on the back. It comes in a plastic sleeve for its protection. The painting is actually mounted on a vintage playing card.

This is an original painting, not a print.

I was inspired by wonderful art pottery from the 1940s
art nouveau period.
Clarice Cliff was a famous British artist that created many unusual and beautiful pottery works.
Today her pottery pieces sell for very high prices. I love the look of her art but can't afford her pottery.... so I painted this butterfly inspired by some of her work.
I hope you enjoy this butterfly as much as I do.....

This is a handmade treepot. Yes, you could use it for coffe
or tea. It is large and meant for decor in your collection.
Approx 17 inches high and about 10 inches handle to spout.

I really enjoyed making it and I have had it for a couple
years and it's a pleasure to look at every day. I hope

It is painted with browns and greens with a very bright
red bird on the spout.

The Seahorse Vase.

This vase is 13" tall and
approximately 6" across the base.

All the work in handmade by me.

I formed the vase from slab rolled clay
and then created each seahorse and shell
from handmade molds.

The base color is a rich carmel and
the main vase is ivory.

This is a large pitcher. 17inches high and 8 inches wide at the handle. It is handbuilt and crafted.

The heron was standing at our pond looking for that little
"courten froggy". I hope he didn't find him.

This is actually meant as a decorative art piece. It can

This is a special handbuilt vase. The big toed gecko is
a beautiful turquoise green and the brown and green
handle set off the colors of the gecko and the vase.

This is a basket type vase that will hold a beautiful
bouquet of your favorite flowers.

Top to bottom the vase is about 14" including the
handle. The actual container portion is about 6"
high and 6"wide and the piece is about 3"across.

Calla Bowl

I made this calla serving bowl. It stands on a pedestal
that is also hand decorated.

The dish can be used to serve cakes or cookies or float
your favorite flowers in the shallow bowl.

I enjoyed making the beautiful one of a kind item.

The base and the bowl are permanetly connected.
This is a once piece item.

The shallow bowl is 14" across and the stand is
5". The total piece stands about 8'tall and 14"
across. The is a real show piece to grace your
dinning room table or a large coffee table.

Chartreuse and Blue - Funky Vase - 8" tall

I don't think you will find a vase
like this one - anywhere else in the world.

This funky little vase is handbuilt
by me. I poured the vessel part in my custom
mold. Once the vessel portion of the vase
was leather hard I built the flower.
What kind of flower is that? Good question.
I think it was suppose to be a sunflower with
the cone center.

The day I glazed-- the chartreuse glaze jumped
into my hand and that is how it got that
funky color. Sometimes the colors are
beyond explanation......

Actually I kind of like this unusual and
OOAK vase. I know you will enjoy it in
your home also.

Any comments or questions let me know. Yes,
I realize that chartreuse is a very LOUD color.

Cherry Pitcher

This is a hand built pitcher. Three cherries and a branch
handle make this a truely unique item.

The pitcher is 8inches tall and about 10 inches across.

The pitcher is glazed with lead free glaze and is safe to
use. Though meant to be decorative it can be used to pour
your favorite drink.

Time to clean out the studio. I would normally sell this
pitcher for $48.00 but I need room to do some new things.

Vase - Sunflower

Blue Vase - 10" tall, 5 inches across
and a 2 inch opening. The vase has a tall
neck.

I poured the round vessel in my custom mold
and then when leather hard I added the 6 inch
neck and then the embellishments and flower.
The flower is a small daisy type flower glazed
a beautiful creamy yellow.

The green is applied thick in spots then
I applied the blue over the green. It is fired
and the colors ran and made a spectacular finished
vase.

Another OOAK vase.

I had sunflowers on my mind the
other day when I was working on vases in my studio;
and the chartreuse glaze must have been
at the top of the pile. Actually I kind of
like chartreuse......I guess.

This little round vase is poured in my custom
mold. Once the vessel portion is dried to
leather hard I build the flower. This is a
sunflower. Don't think there are any purple
sunflowers but purple goes with chartreuse so
that's my story and I'm sticking to it.......

The vase is 5" high and about 5"round. It has
a simple 2" opening for flowers. You'll love it!!!!

.... probably won't be another one like this any
where you look........ :o)

Vase - Big Red Flower

10 inch high / base 6 inch
and a 5 inch opening.

I handbuilt this OOAK vase. It
looks a bit askew. Yes, it is askew,
so it's not your eye. As I was
building the vase it started to
collapse right in my hands. I manged
to save it and then I kind of liked
the way it looked - askew.

ASKEW is my new word and the defention
means--- to one side; out of line; in a crooked position; awry:

The big red flower really sets off
the vase and makes it stand out.

The vase has a large opening and will
handle a big bouquet of your favorite
flowers. When not in use it stands
askew and lovely in its place waiting
for a bouquet. OOAK I'm sure.......!
