I have been craving the kind of sun and sea and sand that is the treasure of the Florida keys, and this craving translates into this latest design :)

*I also LOVE the film 'Key Largo' with bogart and bacall and edward g. robinson, so that gets a nod as well*

This is a beautiful pair of earrings that I have created using hand patina-ed verdigris petal leaf findings, that hang from antiqued brass hooks.

The true colour is a bit more greenish-blue, a truer verdigris colour than the picture, I tried several shots to show the gorgeous colour, but it didn't quite come through in the pictures...

Elegant, lovely, will go with just about everything :)

Obsidian is fascinating. It is the alchemical result of volcanic lava and water, ctreating a gorgeous deep black natural volcanic glass that has an extensive history. One of the more fascinating ways in which obsidian has been employed has been in forecasting the future. Queen Elizabeth the First had a scrying mirror made of it from which her court magician and astrolger Dr. Dee would prophesy, and then advise the Virgin Queen.

In regards to this use of Obsidian, I will add that this necklace makes an excellent scrying pendulum as well, and instructions to use it as such will be included.

These earrings combine vibes of gypsy and old world boho and feature awesome brass Victorian filigree half circle components skirted by a fabulous row of long brass rectangle drops that dance in a groovy cadence, baby!

Total length from the middle drop up to the bottom of the ear wire is an amazing 4.25 inches long. These are true shoulder duster earrings! I can also adjust the chain length to make them shorter or longer. Just let me know!
These DO have a weight to them- if you are used to a more substantial weight earrings, these won't be a problem. But if you have tiny lobes and/or normally wear studs or other light earrings, you may find these too heavy for your liking.

I love this necklace. In the center is a high fired stoneware bottle pendant, featuring a beautiful Celtic knotwork design on both sides. The bottle is corked, and the inside is glazed so it is ready for anything including oils. I have paired this centerpiece up with brass and glass beads which complement the pendant and this necklace is finished with a wonderful antiqued brass chain and hook and eye clasp.

I love this design- it reminds me of Russian architecture, the onion topped temples against a skyline.
