These beads are beautiful! Large black beads with subtle faceting, with a green snakeskin pattern. I used black leather for the page strap, and black coated craft wire to hold everything together.

I made this bookmark in the middle of the night when I couldn't sleep. I saw the plier marks on the wire in the daylight, but I have to say that I really like the effect. If you like the beads, but don't like the scraped wire, I'm happy to remake it for you.

I invite you to examine the last two photos. I hand file every ear wire that leaves here to insure that they are kind to ears. While I have a tool that will help round the ends, I feel I get a smoother end if I hand file each one. It's a Santiam thing. ;-) At 19g, this is a heavier ear wire/hook than usual, so it is important that those ends are smooth!

Argentium is sterling silver with the alloy being germanium instead of copper. The result is a beautiful sterling silver wire that is tarnish resistant!
