This very modern rosary makes a perfect gift... that is, if you can bear to part with it! The Our Father beads were handmade by a polymer clay artist and are full of striking colors. The turquoise dice beads, although cube-shaped, are drilled from corner to corner so that they're strung at an interesting angle. I love to make rosaries that are interesting for the fingers as well as the eyes, and these Hail Mary beads are by far my favorite to hold onto. Accents of purple and pink with shimmering rainbow seed bead spacers make this a wonderfull colorful piece. The Crucifix and center both display Madonna and Son, first in infancy and then at the Cross. Wouldn't this be a perfect instrument of prayer for the modern Mom?

Make a bold statement with this simple necklace.

"Respect" and "Life" are hand-stamped onto different-sized sterling silver rings and attached to a 18" rayon twisted cord with a sterling split ring. The split ring holds the pendant securely and will not split and fall from the cord. The necklace is finished with sterling ends and a lobster claw clasp.

This necklace is truly eye-catching. 80 freshwater pearls are woven together with topaz-colored crystals in an interesting drop pattern. The aurora borealis finish on the crystals gives plenty of sparkle, and the cranberry seed beads that hold the piece together add great depth to the weave. Length is approximately 17in (43.25 cm).

The earrings are simple and straight and are great just by themselves - they'd be a terrific enhancement to a simple strand of pearls! But paired with this necklace, their simple straight shape takes on new dimension. They measure just under 1 inch (2.5cm) from the bottom of the french hook.

This rosary is part of With Love from Mom's Luminous Collection, a special series of one of a kind rosaries based on reflections of the Luminous Mysteries.

The fifth and final Luminous Mystery is the Institution of the Eucharist. Jesus sat with his disciples, broke bread, shared wine, and offered himself to us for eternity. What a precious moment to remember in prayer, and represent in this rosary!

The Our Father beads of this rosary are brown and milky white picasso glass, and the tones and shape are echoed beautifully in the picasso Hail Mary beads. The beads of this rosary are more petite (6-8mm) than most of my themed pieces, but they are still comfortable for any size hand. The browns and creams here represent the bread broken at the Last Supper, the body of Christ.

The color of red wine, garnet beads provide all the accent here. The rough hand-cut diamond shapes separate the decades, and tiny 3mm garnet rounds provide rest for the fingers between the prayers to Our Lady.

This rosary is finished in silver with a silver-tone Sacred Heart center and a crucifix depicting a host and chalice as well as angels in prayer.

Every detail here harkens back to the Eucharist theme, and would make wonderful aids in meditative prayer.

Colors and sizes here are perfect for a gentleman's rosary, but I'm sure anyone would love this as a gift!

I am so excited about this new piece! It's a subtle but beautiful statement. The first verse of the Hail Mary is stamped onto 10 half-inch copper circles. Connected by copper jump rings and finished with copper chain and lobster clasp, this bracelet will measure about 7 3/4" long.

Incidentally, those 10 copper discs can be used to count a decade of the rosary!

The second Luminous Mystery is "The Wedding Feast at Cana." When I saw the beautiful lampwork beads made by Etsy user flamecreations (http://www.flamecreations.etsy.com), I knew they were exactly what I had in mind to reflect the miracle of changing water into wine. The blues and purples just bubble and flow together so perfectly. These beads needed extra special accents, so I surrounded the Our Fathers with square spacer beads and freshwater pearl buttons.

I found the Hail Mary beads in a small bead shop in Lancaster, PA. There were just enough left to complete a rosary. What grace there was in that find! When I brought them home, the purple and turqoise glass teardrops matched the lampwork beads perfectly! A match made in Heaven, you might say ;)

The clear iridescent and silver seed beads used to string the rosary together add just a hint of shimmer but do not detract from the imagery in the main beads.

In searching for a center, I chose a simple image of Mary, but on the back of this center you will find the inscription "Pray For Us." How fitting a sentiment for a mystery where the Blessed Mother plays such a pivotal role as an intercessor between the family of the wedded couple and her Most Blessed Son!

Finally, even the Crucifix chosen here is a meditation on the miracle at Cana. The cross shape is accented with vine and grapes, reminding us of how this imagery played a powerful part in Jesus' public life beginning with his first miracle through to the Last Supper.

Strung on strong but flexible wire, this rosary is designed to withstand daily use, but beautiful enough for display!
