This pair of earrings definitely reminds of those sweet 70s kitchens, with the oranges, yellows, and browns. The "potholder" part of the name comes with a bit of a funny story too. My aunt bought a pair of my earrings and while she was admiring them she thought she heard her husband say that they looked like potholders. HA, what a funny uncle! (Not..) Anyways, now this pair actually reminds me of those old woven colourful straw hotpads, if you know what I'm sayin'!

These potholders are crocheted in 100% cotton and use "antique" brass kidney wires. They measure 1 1/2" in diametre and hang at length of 2 1/2". The orange is also a bit more vibrant in life than I could capture on my camera.

I'm very inspired by the colour combinations in nature, as well as the natural and soft feeling textures of materials such as cotton, bamboo and linen. The edges on these earrings kind of reminds me of the fractal like edge of a fern..

They measure about 1 3/4" from point to point and the hooks are made from sterling silver plated stainless steel. The thread on the backs of the earrings is neatly pulled through and hidden.

These little guys measure almost 1 1/2" across. I've used sterling silver plated stainless steel ear hooks, and the thread on the backs of the earrings are pulled under and neatly hidden.

My favorite pair! All of my earrings are crocheted in 100% cotton. They are lightweight, soft, and durable.
Colors, shapes and textures inspired by my love of nature and the outdoors.

The flowers measure just about 1 3/4" in diametre, and from the top of the hook they hang at 2 1/2".
Kidney hooks have a gunmetal finish, lead and nickel free.
