I kept all the pickets he cut off (to make the seat) just knowing I would &#39;need&#39; them for something cool one day! <br /><br />The blue butterfly is a handsawn copper butterfly that I applied a patina to.<br /> It is layered over a collage image photo and a piece of laser printed transparency. <br />The transparency image is from a handwritten geometry journal from 1811 (incidently the photos are taken on that same journals open pages)...<br /><br />Assemblage is approximately 9&quot; high, 2.5&quot; wide and 1&quot; thick.
