This may be the most colorful piece I've ever made! I cut out each copper disc and put a patina on them to provide a "tooth" for the Prismacolor pencils I use . After many layers of the waxy color, I coat them twice with a fixative made for the purpose. I attach each dot to a manufactored sterling silver chain . 18" long. To keep it nicely, treat them like you would your pearls. Keep it separate from your other jewelry in a soft bag. I will send it to you in the velvet bag.

I found this sextagonal washer. It had such an interesting shape that I had to use it in this piece! I've made a tube rivet for its center, then soldered a bezel cup to hold the beautiful little burnt orange carnelian cabochon. I think the color against the blue washer is so pretty. I colored the oxidized washer with a blue prismacolor pencil. It's waxy and holds well to the rusted background. It also preserves the metal. 2 1/4" long and 1 1/2" across widest part.

The brass square is etched, cut to shape, and both pieces are enclosed in a sterling silver bezel. The forged sterling bar sets them off nicely, I think. This is a fun piece! It's certainly one-of-a-kind!

Since the pin stem is centered and verticle, this piece can easily be worn as a pendant, too.

This pin can also be used as a pendant since the pin is verticle. It is 2 7/8" long and 1.5" across the silver bar. I weave copper strips, solder that into a sterling silver frame, solder Sister Moon's face (etched copper)into its silver frame, then rivet the weaving to its sterling backing. I cold forge the silver bar and wire that onto the piece.

I hope that wasn't more than you wanted to know. I love to make pieces that represent women. It was lovingly hand fabricated as I so long-windedly said.

This is a new design! I like the "shield" shape. I've used fold formed and stamped st. silver and woven copper strips within a sterling silver "frame". The lines of the folds look like train tracks leading off into the distant copper sky. I guess everyone will see something different.

The other small picture shows the hand constructed pin back and loops for hanging it on a chain or cord. I do sell those, too, if you are interested. Just ask me about them.

The piece is 2.5" long and 1.25" across the widest part. It is all hand constructed. It's a handsome piece, I think.

My latest design! To me, these earrings look like flower buds, but they could be anything, I just like their look. I've etched the copper and brass, soldered the sterling ring onto the brass, then riveted that to the copper (which had been heated to form the red oxide that won't come off with regular wear.) Phew! That was a run on sentence! Also, I twisted s.silver wire around the ring. Anyway, it was a labor of love. About 1 7/8" long from the top of the hook. Sterling earwires.

This interesting stone has fossilized shells within it. It is set in a sterling silver bezel, hand hammered with a sterling wire coil as a bail. It hangs nicely on a black cord. I made these special Lapis earrings for people who can only wear gold. I've wrapped and forged the goldfilled wire around the bead, made a small goldfilled coil, then added 14k gold ear hooks. Simple but elegant. Natural lapis. 1.5" long.

Earrings Colored Copper

These earrings are cut from copper, a patina is applied, then I color them with prismacolor pencil. They are then given two coats of a fixative. It's great way to get a colorful look. The copper is light weight. Sterling silver ear wires finish them off. This pair is a beautiful shade of red, but the other pictures on the side show many different colors are available. This fun, brightly colored necklace is made from copper shapes which have been colored by Prismacolor Pencils. They are then sprayed with a polyurethene fixative. The copper is given a patina which holds the color.

The copper pieces hang on a ready made sterling silver chain with a hand forged catch. This is a fun piece to wear. Many of the earrings go well with it.

Beautiful Millefiori glass beads (which I found on Etsy!) and my hand fabricated sterling silver wire elements make up the this 18" necklace. I twist silver wire, then make rings from them to put between the colorful beads. I didn't make the beads, but I did make the silver elements.

If you have thick hair, this is the right barrett for you. It is 4" long, the mechanism is imported from France. I hammer the silver to give it a nice texture, then attach it to the barrett back which, I might add, is not nickel, it is stainless steel. Very nice. You will love this barrett.

Spring is here! This is a lovely orange and yellow flower with sterling silver squggles and coiled wire beads, all hand made, of course. The little flower is 1 1/8" long and the black rubber cord is 18" long. Silver lobster claw clasp.
