The Mala, (meaning 'garland' in Sanskrit) is used for counting the repetitions of mantras or prayers. Also called prayer beads or Tibetan rosary, they have long been used to inspire a deeper connection to your spiritual practice, whatever it may be.

I found this beautiful antique Shiva Shakti pendant at a gem show a while back. It is a sterling silver pendant that has been dipped in gold leaving a beautiful finish. There are so many hand carved flourishes, that it is an art piece unto itself. My favorite part is the double bale (the part the necklace threads through)- look at those little flower patterns - wow.

Shiva (the masculine principle) and Shakti (feminine principle) represent sacred union, divine union, perfect balance.

Three strands of beautiful freshwater pearls in varying shapes and sizes - each chosen for their warming glow - are hand strung onto the softest pink silk. I designed this cross myself, and hand sew it adding little seed beads here and there for extra prettiness. The cross's bail is made with Swarovski crystals. The cross has a natural design, it has it's own feminine shape rather than a stiff look.

This Pearls of Devotion necklace can be worn close to your heart tucked in to your shirt, or on the outside. It lays beautifully either way.

I made this necklace originally for a very special person who had many generations of pearls collected and wanted something special to be made from them- to carry the women the necklaces came from with her always.

When I wear these earrings... lookout! I feel so beautiful. They are lightweight yet substantial and the drape is perfect.

Literally the Eastern Goddess style is right for every face and hairstyle. And, I should know, I have had long hair and short and can still wear these no matter.

Measures 1 3/4 inches wide by 2.5" long (from the bottom of the ear wire).

Made of luscious red faceted rubies and blue faceted turquoise gemstones. The variegated blue center stone at the base of the earring is actually a hand made glass bead. I make the beautiful hand turned silver chandelier drops myself (my own design), as well as the head pins used in this piece. All findings are sterling silver.

Rubies help heal and open the heart. They heighten the awareness of divine love and enhance the ability to experience and express it. Turquoise brings the earth element- it helps provide solace for spirit and body, and can enhance communication. Overall the composition is very grounding.

This necklace is made of several different types of 2.5 - 3mm faceted Garnets which are hand knotted onto soft silk - rosy brown in color - finished with 14K gold fill accents, and a beautiful yellow Mary pendant.

Necklace sits at heart center, measures approx 25 inches/ 63.5 cm in length. I can make this in silver, and it can be shortened with a clasp if you'd like.
