My Cable knit wrist warmers knitting pattern is really simple but very stylish, if you have never done cabling before, then this is a good pattern to start you off, and once you've made one pair, you won't be able to stop.
For the experienced knitter, this is an evening project from start to finish. For the beginner it may take a little longer, but it's a really fun pattern that you will want to knit again and again, it would be perfect for Christmas presents.

You will need to have a basic knowledge of knitting as this pattern does not teach you how to knit.

You will need a pair or 5mm US 8 and a pair of 6mm US 10 needles and a cable needle, you will also need 2 x 50 g balls of chunky (bulky 12ply) yarn.

After much thought (and demand), I have decided to give you the chance to knit your own cable knit wrist warmers.

I love knitting them, even after making well over 40 pairs, I have never bored of making them, they are a fairly quick project, they take me around 6 hours from start to finish.

You will need to have a basic knowledge of knitting as this pattern does not teach you how to knit.
And you will need to know how to knit on a set of double pointed needles as this pattern is knitted in the round.

The cable pattern is not complicated so a beginner in cable shouldn't have any problem with it.

You will need a set of 5 5mm (US8) double pointed needles
a set of 4mm (US6) double pointed needles
2 50gm balls of aran weight (10ply) yarn
and a small amount of waste yarn in a contrasting colour.
