Poppy Ring

$7.00
::Poppy Ring::

A bright red poppy flower is affixed to a silvertone adjustable ring. The poppy measures approx. .75" across and sits up about .25" from the ring base. It is adhered to the ring base utilizing industrial strength epoxy. The size of this adjustable ring starts at approx. a size 5 and can be stretched to a size 7 at most. This little poppy ring is one of my earliest designs and is still one of my favorites!

✩Note✩
These poppies are adhered to their metal base utilizing E6000 industrial strength epoxy. I have stress tested the joinery on these little rings by actually throwing a sample ring as hard as I could (repeatedly) on a wood floor, and wacking it against a hard surface. It was good stress relief, ha ha! ;) However, I would still recommend that care is taken while wearing these as the flower sits high on it's setting. Thanks!

For more information about jewelry construction, shipping, returns, custom orders, etc? please visit my Policies: http://www.etsy.com/shop_policy.php?user_id=5541613
Vintage Style Typewriter Necklace

$26.00
::Vintage Style Typewriter Necklace::

I love old typewriters so when I found these tiny, solid brass, gold plated miniatures I did my happy dance! For the necklace, I have secured a bail on the back of the typewriter with industrial strength epoxy, and suspended it from a goldtone cable chain with a black Czech glass blossom as pretty accent. The overall length is a longer 21.5" (approx.) I think this would make a wonderful gift for the writer who needs a little nudging to finish their Great American Novel. ;)

Things you should know:
*This typewriter is solid brass and therefore has some weight to it!
*The little paper has very tiny writing on it; my eyes are not the best, but it looks to me like passages from the King James Bible. (This is different than the typewriter shown in the main picture which has since sold and had excerpts from the dictionary).
* The paper is attached to the drum (which does not move). Each typewriter varies slightly as far as the placement of the paper.
*The keys are a decal.
*I also have the glass flower in white, if you're interested...

***I am upgrading my chain, therefore your chain will be slightly different than what is shown.***

IMPORTANT:
Much of my jewelry contains vintage components which I love to use for many reasons, namely: I like to reuse materials whenever possible, they're often better made than their contemporary counterparts, and they're charming and unusual.

However, due to their age, they may have very slight scratches or discoloration, oxidation to the metals, etc. I always try and choose "the best" of my lot to not include anything that I personally wouldn't want to wear, vintage or not.

For more information about jewelry construction, shipping, returns, custom orders, etc. please visit my Policies: http://www.etsy.com/shop_policy.php?user_id=5541613

These are seriously romantic earrings reminiscent of an opulent era. The jewels measure approx. 15mm. Overall length is approx. 2.75"

Please note: the backs of these setting are open, allowing for a peek of the backs of the jewels which are gold foiled. This may not be a bother to some, but to others who do not like to see gold tones and silver tones mingle in any way, I felt it important to mention! :)

They are even more lovely in person! Each locket features a swiveling bail allowing you to view either side.

✩I can think of a million and one uses for these lockets: to carry special mementos, bits of an old map, a lucky coin (can hold up to the thickness of a dime), a lock of a baby's hair, love note, tiny drawing....you get the picture! They also make lovely gifts for bridesmaids; simply add a chain or a ribbon coordinated to your wedding colors. (Please message me if you need multiples.)

✩These lockets were handcrafted in Mexico and are stamped as such along with 925 to indicate they are sterling silver.

✩Please note the glass has a very slight greenish tint and no two are exactly alike (which I think just adds to their charm.) Locket measures 27 x 22mm and has a tiny screw at the top for opening.

✩✩✩✩✩This is for the Locket, only...you supply the chain!✩✩✩✩✩

To return to my shop: http://www.etsy.com/shop/laralewis

$24.00
::Duchess Opulent Filigree Earrings in Crystal::

Gorgeous brass filigrees are combined with teardrop shaped sparkly faceted glass jewels in raw brass settings. Much like my "Marie Antoinette Earrings," these are seriously romantic, reminiscent of an opulent era. Overall length is approx. 2.75"

p.s. I also carry these in Garnet! :)

-----------------------------------------------------

Estate Collection™ Estate Earrings™
©Lara Lewis 2008 - 2010

Jewels are vintage and measure 25/18 mm. Total length approx. 1.75" Very old school...like old estate jewelry.

**The last picture is to demonstrate size, but it depicts these earrings in another color. This listing is for the pink earrings only.

Just the right amount of red to complete a fall outfit! The overall length of the earrings is approx. 1.75"

These bobby pins are smaller than my "Luxe Bobby Pins" measuring approx. 1.75" in length. They are also slightly curved. If you have the kind of hair that bobby pins normally slide out of, these might be a better fit for you as they have a tighter grip. (However, they do not have rubberized tips, so care must be taken when removing them from your hair.) I also carry Audrey earrings, necklace, ring, and bracelet in my shop! :)

**The 12mm glass jewel was made in West Germany in the late 1950's. It is not perfect, but considering it's age, it is in lovely condition.

These 14/10 mm faceted glass stones are set in hand-oxidized brass settings. Total length approx. 1.5" The color is quite remarkable, varying between a charcoal grey to a muted green depending on the light.

It suspends from a gold plate safety pin along with a ivory Swarovski crystal pearl and is accented by a black satin ribbon. Width is approx. 2.25"

More Queens are to be arriving in my shop...stay tuned! :)

*The portrait is a reproduction of the original currently on display at Anne's childhood home of Hever Castle. (Source: Wikipedia). It is in a brass setting and encased by a glass cabochon. The paper has been sealed but I do not recommend exposing it to moisture.

IMPORTANT:
Much of my jewelry contains vintage components which I love to use for many reasons, namely: I like to reuse materials whenever possible, they're often better made than their contemporary counterparts, and they're charming and unusual.

However, due to their age, they may have slight scratches, discoloring, oxidation to the metals, etc. I always try and choose "the best" of my lot to not include anything that I personally wouldn't want to wear, vintage or not.

***That being said, please know that I have a 100% satisfaction guarantee! If you are not totally in love with your piece, I would greatly appreciate it if you contact me BEFORE leaving neutral or, eek, negative feedback. Your happiness as a customer is extremely important to me and I will always do what I can to fix the problem.***

Accented by a tiny pink glass blossom. Filigree measures 43 x 34 mm. Overall length is approx. 7"

*Each filigree has been lacquered to preserve the finish. Accented by a tiny book and bronzed Swarovski crystal pearl. Overall length is 20"

*These lenses are circa early to mid 1900's and have variations in their patina associated with age. Also, slight variations will occur in their markings. If you wish to have a picture of your necklace prior to shipment, I will be happy to do so!

*These tiny books have a tiny hole and jump ring attached to the top and are definitely real enough to write in, albeit it in tiny handwriting! I have other colors if you prefer (green, blue, and red). Simply send me a note at checkout! :)

They are in lovely condition.
