I just love the way this garment came out. It is made of a whisper light printed cotton and has been constructed to be worn either as a dress or a long and flowing skirt. The band is elastic and the bottom hem has some extra stitching to create dimension. A great versitile piece.

This top is made up of fabric from other garments. The bodice has pretty embroidery work and is fully lined in natural cotton muslin. The bottom is a mid weight cotton from an Indian Sari. The straps criss cross and tie in the back. I've made them extra long which allows for just the right adjustment.

A collection of cotton, hemp and satin make up the patchwork for this adorable girls skirt. Batiks and tie dyes with OM symbols with felted wool leaves randomly placed. This handmade patchwork shirt is made out of all cotton fabrics with a swatch of hemp for good measure. All the patchwork is top stitched and french seamed to be super durable. I've added a pretty pocket with some pink ribbon and some fancy green ribbon with felted wool leaves on the bottom back hem. Waistband has wide no roll elastic. A handmade garment thats one of a kind.

Ahhh..remember the movie Purple Rain and Prince. I loved that movie. And Prince. Cheesy I know but hey, it was the 80's and we were all moody, broody and so tragically cool. This of course has nothing to do with this lovely scarf other than a twist on the name of a silly movie.

The yarn that I've used for the scarf is a textured yarn from Crystal Palace in a vivid purple. The scarf is 56" long and can be worn a few different ways. I've tried to show some different styles with the photos.

The flowers are attached with a band so you could use this piece as a wristlet or as an accent for another scarf. The yarn is 100% cotton for the flowers and the leaves .I've added a ladybug to the pedel of one of the flowers. Ladybugs are wonderful for eliminating pests from your garden.

Heres a sweet and simple little cowl in an acrylic/wool blend yarn. Lightest violet and very warm. I've added a large felted wool flower all handcrafted by myself. This will be a nice accent piece and nice on chilly days.

This cozy cowl is made of a textured Crystal Palace yarn in a soft heathery gray and a darker gray yarn. The bottom of the cowl has the 2 yarn knitted together whil the top just underneath the tie is just the finer darker gray. The contrast is very nice while still being a very neutral piece. I've added some white cotton lace to the top and a satiny black tie with a bow.

This cowl is a Victorian inspired piece. The colors and the delicate white lace with the black ribbon is so romantic. One of my favorites!

I've left the 2 ends unfinished for an earthier look. The button is a red patterned ceramic and compliments the colors and different textures beautifully. A beautifully soft and warm neckwarmer cowl to keep you cozy and warm this winter. The yarn is a pretty medium blue, sure to compliment your wardrobe, in a luxuriously thick and sensuously soft wool blend. There is a band of lime green at the top for great contrast. It'll feel like a dream in the cold, keeping you happy, cozy and snug. The accent piece is a crochet flower in cream with 2 knitted lime green leaves and a paisley fabric leaf. I've added some ribbon along with my signature silver piece "be true". A good bit of advice for us all. Be true to yourself, be true to your loved ones.

A beautifully soft and warm neckwarmer cowl to keep you cozy and warm this winter. I used 3 strand of different yarns for this cowl in complimentary colors. It'll feel like a dream in the cold, keeping you happy, cozy and snug. The bottom of this piece has been covered in fringe that is made up of ribbon, yarn, and handcut strips of fabric. I've also added a crwam colored flower with handcut felt leaves and my signature silver piece "follow your heart". I have a terrible wanderlust and dream of travel this time of the year. My heart usually leads me into the Appalachian mountains at this time of year but San Francisco would be wonderful as well.

A pretty cotton skirt in a strawberry print with a blue and white background. The bottom ruffle is made of a cotton muslin with decorative stitching and unfinished edges. The front pocket is made from a vintage crochet doilie with a butterfly motif and is fully lined in a blue cotton. Elastic waistband.

Beautiful handmade skirt by Leanna of Grateful Threads. Made with a beautiful cotton batik panel in warm reds and oranges. The other half is a colorful collage of cottons, hemps and corderoys. There is a long ties that wrap and tie around the waist. The beltloops help to keep the tie secure.

The bottom hem of the skirt is little higher in the front to give is some nice soft movement and dimension.

This Beautiful skirt is brought to you by Leanna of Grateful Threads. The fabric is a 100% cotton "Tree of Life" panel in blues and white and the other half is a lovely menagerie of cotton fabric patchwork. Whew, what alot of work but it turned out beautifully. The cut is flattering and full and flows nicely. I've added some colorful leather flowers that were upcycled from a belt and there is a reversable pocket that snaps onto the beltloops so that you can switch it arouns, wear it on the right or left or not at all. The pocket is fully lined and very durable. The waistband is elastic.

Tweed Weeds

Fist start out with a vintage tweed jacket, 100% wool in a size 9/10. Add some pretty ruffly victorian trim in cotton and a smattering of felted wool flowers and leaves. You've got an awesome and original piece of refashion.

The jacket can be worn with the collar down and buttoned up the front or turn the collar up and it fastens with a couple of hook eye closures that have been cleverly concealed with some leaves. The jacket has 2 large front pockets, is fully lined and has an extra button sewn to the inside. Extremely well made and in beautiful condition.

Wool Crochet and Flowers EcoFashion

A beautiful wool poncho that can be worn several ways. The poncho itself is made from a wool throw. The edges have decorative stitching and I have created a collar at the top. A vintage crochet doilie has been added to the top and can be worn around the neck as shown in the photos. There is a button to secure it around your neck. The crochet doilie can be worn unfastened as well. The large felted flower pin can be removed altogether and worn on another garment. I've also added some small felt flowers here and there. Try wearing the poncho as shown or with the seam down the center in front. Anyway you wear it this piece is stunning and an absolute one of a kind.

Poppies in felted wool are the focus of this skirt. They wind around a vintage placemat pocket and spill down the side, entwined in satin ribbon.
