The original photograph was taken using an analog Minolta 35mm film camera in off the coast of Governors Harbor, on the island of Eleuthera in the Bahamas.

The original print is a woodblock self portrait. The technique used is called "Suicide" Printing because 2 colors are used, and once the first color is printed, it can't be re-done because the block is carved into a second time for the second color. To print, I used the rubbed method with a baren (like a rounded toy top) on rice paper.

The print was scanned and is digitally printed on ultra premium fine art paper, which is acid free, fade-resistant, archival paper, using UltraChrome inks which produce consistently amazing color fidelity and scratch resistance. The texture of the paper is most like watercolor paper.

This print has a white border, but no mat. Prints will arrive in a cellophane sleeve, and are shipped in sturdy, moisture-resistant packaging. If you order multiple prints, shipping costs will be combined.
