I LOVE writing songs & sometimes feel like I can't keep up with all of the ideas bouncing around in my brain. This one is still in keeping with that classic cow-punk thing Obedient Waves is known for, but it also has a kind of rockabilly feel. Thus, the pompadour hairdo on that poor dead fish.

Don't you just love all of the amazing art work for sale on Etsy? The artists are so talented & prolific, and their prints are shockingly affordable, usually just about 20 bucks a pop. Once you buy your first piece of art, you'll want to buy more, and, unless you have unlimited wall space, you'll probably find yourself wondering what in the heck to do with your awesome, but dangerously expanding collection.

Why don't you start your own Art Collection Portfolio? It's cheap & easy and way more economical than having each print individually matted & framed. I like to use those plastic, patterned portfolios you can get in the book store's stationary section, because they're cute & cheap ($14.99? SOLD!), but you could also go to any art supply store and buy a sturdy, professional book at a variety of price ranges. Can you imagine how fabulous one of those embossed leather numbers would look sitting on your coffee table?

Portfolios are a great way to keep your investments safe while sharing them with curious friends & house guests. You can also prop & open them up to your favorite print using a music or cook book stand; then simply turn the page when you're ready for a different view. And voila!
