Just so that you never forget, why not frame one of these prints and hang it up as a reminder? Each page is chock full of sage and indispensable advice.

Featuring very funny lessons on etiquette, dating, beauty and charm, these pretty vintage pages were taken from "The Nancy Taylor Course," a set of books printed in the late 1950's through the 1960's.

Screenprinted with a Victorian-era lady donning her corset, each print is one-of-a-kind. This is a limited edition of 5 prints on thick, baby pink vintage book pages.

Please choose one of these 5 witty lessons:

1. Manners of a Lady
Includes such rules as, "If you are walking with an older woman, you should offer to carry her parcels for her."

2. Charm
Describes what makes a woman charming, "She allows herself the privilege of hanging on to the words of the other person with rapt enjoyment."

3. Travel Etiquette
Suggestions on dressing for travel by train and ship, "However, you may quite properly undress in your berth first--provided you have come prepared (and of course you will!) with the simplest type of tailored robe and slippers."

This set of colorful pastel cards is gocco screenprinted with my eyelet lace design in shimmery gold ink. These sweet cards are perfect for a thank you note or simply for saying hello!

This set of 6 folded cards is 4 Bar size (3 1/2" x 4 7/8"), and is printed on 100 lb. French Paper Pop Tone cards and envelopes. Included are two of each in sno-cone (icy blue), bubblegum (pink, of course) and banana split yellow. Coordinating euro-flap envelopes are blue raspberry, cotton candy, and sour apple green.

They come neatly packaged in a clear, resealable sleeve. This little set also makes an adorable gift! Each card is individually hand printed, so please allow for subtle variations in finished cards.

Moleskine came out with two new colors for the cover of their cahiers notebooks, and they are stunning! A deep red and a navy blue, and I've printed them both with my classic silhouette. They turned out better than I even imagined!

A very sweet correspondence set is screenprinted with a vintage illustration of a buttercup flower cross-section. Perfect for writing thank-you notes or a thoughtful gift for someone special!

This botanical illustration is from a turn-of-the century Botany primer by JD Hooker. I printed it in shimmery gold ink on these super sweet lined index cards. You may choose from soft pastel aqua index cards paired with pinkish-lavender envelopes or salmony pink index cards paired with sunny yellow envelopes.

I love the combination of colors and the organic illustration with the graphic lines.

These flat notes are made of cardstock, approx. 65 lb. coverweight, and measure 3" x 5", with 4-Bar size envelopes, which are suitable for mailing.

geography lesson letter set, set of 2 handmade envelopes with notecards and vintage postage

"And now for something completely different..."

Well, not completely different, but I couldn't resist the Monty Python reference! I would say these vintage-inspired cards are a little different than the usual though.

This 2 pack features handmade envelopes made from vintage maps. They are cut and folded by hand from these wonderful vintage educational maps of the world and the states. Most have images on both sides, and some feature topographical imagery. They are A2 size (4 1/4" x 5 1/2") with a euro-style flap. Included are crisp white flat cards of premium 100 lb. coverstock.

To complete the package, the envelopes come with domestic postage from a collection of vintage stamps. Each envelope will come stamped with a minimum of 44cents of postage (First-Class letter rate), with a variety of different stamps. I have carefully selected them for their colorful, wonderful artwork. They are valid for domestic postage, and if you wish to mail your letter internationally, simply affix the additional postage!

If you would like me to include blank labels for addressing the envelopes, just leave a note in Message to Seller and they will be included at no charge. Set will come packaged in a clear, resealable sleeve. Since envelopes are handmade, some variations will occur and pattern placement will vary. Due to their vintage nature, some slight yellowing or discoloration may be present. Envelopes may be sealed with the affixed double-sided tape.

For those that prefer these without postage (maybe you live outside the U.S. or have a large stamp collection yourself or don't intend to send these through the mail), send me a convo and I will create a custom listing for you, less $1 for postage.

I've been inspired to offer this cute mini print of the ever popular golden girl!

She is screenprinted in shimmery gold ink on graph ruled card. A cherry red scalloped frame is also screenprinted for a pop of bright color.

Printed area measures approx. 3 1/2" x 5 1/2". The card measures 4" x 6" and is mounted to a 5" x 7" piece of bristol. Please note this print comes unframed. It will be packaged in a clear, resealable sleeve in bend-proof packaging.

I am in love with these little notebooks!

A vintage red-border label is affixed to the woodgrain cover of this handbound notebook, which is pamphlet stitched with red embroidery floss. A little woodsy, a little preppy, a little retro.

Journal measures 4 1/2" x 6" (approx. A6 size) and contains 60 pages (30 sheets) of mostly vintage, rescued paper. Mixed paper consists of colorful lined, graph, school ruled, and ledger papers. All papers including cover are cut by hand, so slight variations in size may occur.

It's a lovely spring day, the leaves are budding green, and this little lady is taking her beagle out for a walk.

Inspired by charming vintage illustrations of children and my love of dogs, I started a new series of drawings: one for each season of the year, featuring girls and their dogs.

This multicolor, two-screen print is an open edition, signed and dated on the back. It is printed on white 100% cotton, 140 lb/300 gsm Fabriano paper, and measures 5" x 7".

Since each print is individually hand printed, please allow for subtle variations.

The last photo shows this print framed in a simple white wooden frame by Ikea. Simply charming! (Please note, frame is not included in this listing.)

It's been a rainy spring and summer around here, and it's inspired me to make these little pieces.

I start out with a gocco screenprint, add a bit of vintage fabric, and finish it off with gouache paint. The result is this series of young ladies, each one different and one of a kind.

Gocco printed in pale watercolor gray and shimmery aqua blue inks. Measures 5" x 7" on thick, white 100% cotton, 140 lb/300 gsm Fabriano paper. Looks so sweet framed!

Will be initialed on front. Comes packaged in a clear sleeve and packaged appropriately for protection.

vintage children's book, greeting card with matching pinback button

I made these sweet greeting cards with original images punched from a vintage children's book. Each card comes with it's own matching pinback button made from a scan of the original image.

You may choose from a selection of 20 different images. Your image will come on either a peach or an aqua printed card. Please see the last photo for the available designs, and let me know in Message to Seller which one you would like! Since these cards are made with the original vintage book pages, there is only one of each!

Cards are block printed with a mini petal design from my own hand carved rubber stamp, with dusky peach or soft aqua acrylic paint. Peach petal cards come with a soft aqua envelope and aqua petal cards come with a soft yellow envelope.

Folded cards are blank inside, A2 size (4 1/4" x 5 1/2") and are printed on smooth white 80 lb. coverstock. The matching pinback button will come attached to a gift tag made from a sentence strip and tied with baker's twine. Everything comes packaged together neatly in a clear, resealable sleeve. This makes a nifty little gift in itself or a wonderful coordinating gift packaging set.

I have recently been obsessed with graph paper and faux wood, and this is the result of the marriage of the two!

A set of 8 folded gift tags, satiny woodgrain on the outside, crisp graph ruled squares on the inside, all strung up with red and white baker's twine.

These slender tags measure approx. 3" long by 1" wide. You can actually use them the other way around, if you wish, with the woodgrain on the inside... that would be fun too!

Originally created for valentine's day, this sweet little card is now available as a congratulatory card for your favorite lab partners, scientists or nerdy couple!

A whimsical way to congratulate someone on a marriage or engagement!

I am endlessly fascinted by vintage science ephemera, particlarly illustrations from children's textbooks. This card is part of a series featuring digital collages. This one incorporates lace, paper cut outs, and other lovely bits, scanned and then lovingly collaged by me in Photoshop. There is a small white border around the image on the face of the card, making it suitable for framing.

Folded card is blank inside for your personal greeting. A2 size (4 1/4" x 5 1/2") card is printed on elegant linen-textured 80lb. cardstock . It comes packaged in a clear, resealable sleeve with a coordinating chartreuse green envelope.

Based on a sweet set of cards that I recently sold out of, I designed these charming new notecards as another sweet way to say "Thanks!"

Flat note cards are screenprinted with an original vintage-inspired flower illustration (from an embroidered vintage tablecloth). They are blank on the back for your personal greeting.

Set of 6 cards, 4-Bar size (3 1/2" x 4 7/8"), with soft lilac pointed flap envelopes. Printed with my gocco in coral pink, shimmery lilac, gold and spring green inks on premium 100 lb. coverstock. Cards are tied with pink embroidery floss and packaged in a clear, resealable sleeve.

It's a snowy winter wonderland out there! Snowmen, snowball fights, sledding... This little girl and her pooch are romping about a snowy landscape. What sorts of adventures are they headed off to?

Inspired by a charming old photograph and my own beagle,
this illustration is part of my series of girls and their dogs, one for each season of the year.

This multicolor, two-screen print is an open edition, signed and dated on the back. It is printed on heavyweight, smooth white 100% cotton, 140 lb/300 gsm Fabriano paper, and measures 5" x 7".

Since each print is individually hand printed, subtle variations are naturally occuring.

These prints are suitable for framing and would look absolutely lovely in a child's room, your kitchen, office, entryway--anywhere that needs a little touch of art!

This truly unique, vintage-inspired letter set comes personalized with your choice of name or monogram (up to eight letters) in a classic typewriter font. Makes an ideal holiday gift for the world-traveler, philatelist, or vintage buff in your life!

Set of 8 personalized flat cards are 4-Bar size (3 1/2" x 4 7/8"), and come with handmade envelopes made from vintage maps. Envelopes have a euro-style flap and can be sealed with the affixed double-sided tape. Crisp white flat cards feature rounded corners for a retro feel. Customized with a classic typewriter font in a matching teal blue-green ink.

Envelopes are cut and folded by hand from wonderful vintage educational maps of the world and the states. Most have images on both sides, and some feature topographical imagery. Colors include various shades of blue, teal, brown and tan on white.

I'm so excited about these cute little stickers!

I have a favorite screenprint of two fluffy little sheep that I used for the holiday cards I sent out last year. I decided to scan the print into Photoshop and color them digitally. The result is this packet of 12 sweet little sheep stickers, all packaged up ready for gifting!

Sheep are colored pink and yellow, and each one has a tiny heart in its belly. These would be cute for handmade cards, scrapbooking or giftwrapping!

I decided to mix it up a bit (pun intended), and make my favorite gocco print with hand painted details.

My "walking the dog" girl is out to take her beagle for a walk this lovely spring day. She is gocco screenprinted in black ink on thick, white 100% cotton, 140 lb/300 gsm Fabriano paper, and measures 5" x 7". I painted her with gouache and added a bit of grass detail with colored pencil.

I am putting together a few sampler packs of seconds, samples, and misprints at a super bargain price. This pack includes 10 different cards at only $1.25 each!

These cards are almost perfect, but didn't quite make the grade. Misprints may have registration that is off by just a bit too much, or colors tht didn't print out quite right. Seconds may have a print that is slightly smudged in one place, or a little smear of ink inside or on the back cover. And since I don't sell these as part of the full-price sets, I have decided to offer them at a very special price. Samples are just that: cards that are in perfect condition, that I decided for one reason or another not to make multiples of.

Your package will be carefully selected, and is guaranteed to be cute and colorful and in clean and usable condition. You will get 10 different cards with envelopes, packaged together in a clear, resealable sleeve. They will include one flat and nine folded cards in both A2 (4 1/4" x 5 1/2") and 4 Bar (3 1/2" x 4 7/8") sizes.

This lovely and cheerful set of holiday cards features a scandinavian folk-inspired design, with two sweet deer whose entwined antlers encircle a little heart. "Have a warm and cozy holiday!"

Folded cards are blank inside for your personal greeting. They are printed on classic linen-finish 80 lb. coverstock, 4-Bar size (3 1/2" x 4 7/8"), and come as a set of 6 with handmade envelopes.

The envelopes are made from vintage placemats with an allover folk design in warm reddish-orange, ecru, and indigo blue colors on a cream background. They have a soft pebble texture and a euro-style flap. The envelopes can be sealed with the affixed double sided tape. A sweet and pretty set of thank you notes in a pretty petal pattern. A lovely gift for a friend or coworker, or the perfect way to say "thanks!"

First I gocco screenprinted these notecards in navy blue ink with the greeting, "Thank You." Then I block printed them with my little hand carved rubber block with block printing inks I mixed up to get the perfect pretty shades. This set of 4 notecards includes one each of lemon drop, peach, mango, and raspberry, with white accents. They come with soft sky blue pointed flap envelopes and are packaged in a clear, resealable sleeve.

These folded notes are blank inside, A2 size (4 1/4" x 5 1/2") , and are printed on super smooth 80 lb. kraft coverstock with little specks throughout. No two cards are alike! Each card is individually hand printed, so pattern placement will vary. Please convo me with any questions!

These personalized cards make a perfect gift for a teacher or child, as well as for the paper-obsessed geek in your life! They come with adorable matching vintage school-ruled envelopes.

Notecards are customizable: You may choose any message, greeting or name to be printed on these. Please let me know what you would like printed on your cards in the Message to Seller section at Checkout. Personalization of up to 20-25 characters (or less, of course) will work best.

There are two fonts available, type or script. Shorter names or phrases can either be centered or justified to the right. Please be sure to indicate your choices in Message to Seller.

Folded cards are printed on 4-Bar size (3 1/2" x 4 7/8"), 80 lb. cardstock. Envelopes measure slightly larger at 4" x 6". They are in perfect condition, though due to their age, some slight yellowing my be present. Set comes neatly packaged in a clear, resealable sleeve, tied with baker's twine.

So sweet and simple, these cute little notecards are perfect for saying thanks or just for saying hello!

Set of 5 flat cards with rounded corners are A2 size (4 1/4" x 5 1/2"), premium 100 lb. coverstock and blank on the back. A small fabric heart is adhered to the front with permanent fabric glue. This fabric is from an old stash of fat quarters I discovered while visiting my mom! It is at least 15 years old, quite possibly vintage.

Well, not completely different, but I couldn't resist the Monty Python reference! I would say these vintage-inspired cards are a little different than the usual though.

This 4 pack features handmade envelopes made from vintage maps. They are cut and folded by hand from these wonderful vintage educational maps of the world and the states. Most have images on both sides, and some feature topographical imagery. They are A2 size (4 1/4" x 5 1/2") with a euro-style flap. Included are crisp white flat cards of premium 100 lb. coverstock.

To complete the package, the envelopes come with domestic postage from a collection of vintage stamps. Each envelope will come stamped with a minimum of 44cents of postage (First-Class letter rate), with a variety of different stamps. I have carefully selected them for their colorful, wonderful artwork. They are valid for domestic postage, and if you wish to mail your letter internationally, simply affix the additional postage!

If you would like me to include blank labels for addressing the envelopes, just leave a note in Message to Seller and they will be included at no charge. Set will come packaged in a clear, resealable sleeve. Since envelopes are handmade, some variations will occur and pattern placement will vary. Due to their vintage nature, some slight yellowing or discoloration may be present. Envelopes come ready to seal with the affixed double-sided tape.

Two quintessential spring blooms, tulips and daffodils, are screenprinted on this set of adorable thank you notes.

These incredible vintage illustrations of botanical cross-sections are from a turn-of-the century Botany primer by JD Hooker. (This book has so many wonderful illustrations!) Pink tulips and yellow daffodils are printed on soft white, 80 lb. cardstock. This set of 8 cards includes 4 of each design, and features the words "thank you" screenprinted in shimmmery lavender and shimmery aqua inks. Folded notes are blank inside, 4 Bar size, (3 1/2" x 4 7/8"), and come with 4 juicy orange and 4 lilac envelopes (to mix and match)!

They come neatly packaged in a clear, resealable sleeve. This little set also makes a thoughtful gift! Each card is individually hand printed, so please allow for subtle variations in finished cards.

I am putting together a few sampler packs of seconds, samples, and misprints at a super bargain price. This pack includes 10 different cards with envelopes at only $1.25 each!

These cards are almost perfect, but didn't quite make the grade. Misprints may have registration that is off by just a bit too much, or colors that didn't print out quite right. Seconds may have a print that is slightly smudged in one place, or a little smear of ink inside or on the back cover. And since I don't sell these as part of the full-price sets, I have decided to offer them at a very special price. Samples are just that: cards that are in perfect condition, that I decided for one reason or another not to make multiples of.

Your package will be carefully selected, and is guaranteed to be cute and colorful and in clean and usable condition. You will get 10 different cards with envelopes, packaged together in a clear, resealable sleeve. They will include three flat and seven folded cards in both A2 (4 1/4" x 5 1/2") and 4 Bar (3 1/2" x 4 7/8") sizes.

It's been a rainy spring AND summer around here, and it's inspired me to make these little pieces.

I start out with a gocco print, add a bit of vintage fabric, and finish it off with gouache paint. The result is this series of little girls, each one different and one of a kind.

Gocco printed in pale watercolor gray and shimmery aqua blue inks. Measures 5" x 7" on thick, white 100% cotton, 140 lb/300 gsm Fabriano paper. Looks so sweet framed!

Will be initialed and dated on front. Comes packaged in a clear sleeve and packaged appropriately for protection.

Last thumbnail shows full image. Watermark does not appear on actual piece.

This 1950's style, retro-inspired card was created from a collage I made using vintage ephemera, which I then combined with additional digital collage elements.

Originally I created this as a Mother's Day card for my own mom. Here I turned it into a birthday greeting card for your mom! Printed on beautiful linen-finish 80 lb. cardstock, this folded card measures 4 1/4" x 5 1/2" (A2 size) and comes with a fresh lemon yellow envelope. It will be packaged in a clear, resealable sleeve. There is a small white border around the image, which makes it suitable for framing.

This card may also be customized with your own personal greeting on the front. Please convo me with any questions!
