This little birdie pin is a sweet "Eco-Happy" design that would make a wonderful Valentine's Day gift ... or special to wear all year round. I've incorporated re-purposed and recycled fabric scraps into this piece of wearable art.

I've hand drawn my little birdie design with black ink and have embellished his wing with a little piece of scrap fabric stitched in place. The final detail is a sparkling clear glass bead sewn onto the wing.

The drawing is on a piece of high quality muslin, which is backed by another piece of loosely woven fabric. I've stitched the design onto a hand-cut round of red wood, which I've machine felted. The red wool was a sweater in former days.

The back is finished nicely with a round of eco-friendly / eco-spun felt and a 1" silver tone pin clasp securely sewn in place. My "Made in Florida, tracyBdesigns" label is the final touch.

The finished pin measures approx. 2.5" in diameter.

This set of sweet embellishments includes a colorful assortment of 6 fabric posies, which average 2.25" in diameter - with fun colors of pink, red, brown and white.

Each posy features 3 hand-cut petal rounds, topped by several small fabric scraps and a cluster of small glass beads, which have been hand stitched in place. The fabric has been treated to give it a slightly stiffened and crumpled texture, and I hand fray the edges for an "artsy-finished" look. Backs of flowers are simple, which allows you the flexibility to use them as you’d like --- glue, sew, or pin them to your creations. This "happy scrappy" fabric flower pin is a great size to add a little fun and color to t-shirts, totes, hats, sweaters etc.

Similar to my other Les Scraps La Fleur items, I've made use of floral tone fabric scraps by recycling them into pieces of wearable art - making this an eco-friendly craft.

This pin is approx. 2.5" - 2.75" in diameter and features colorful petals, made of fabric scraps that have been folded, twisted, crunched & scrunched - then stitched and glued into a rosette shape. The little threads and frayed edges add to the artsy look.

This petite fabric flower pin is a great size to add a little fun and color to t-shirts, totes, hats, sweaters etc. With warm tones of brown and green - it's a perfect accessory to welcome Fall!

Similar to my other Les Scraps La Fleur items, I've made use of itsy bitsy floral tone fabric scraps by recycling them into pieces of wearable art.

My petite pins measure in at approx. 2.5" in diameter (base size) and feature colorful petals, accented with lots of fabric scraps stitched in place. The stitching on the pin is done in a free-motion / imperfect manner, and the little threads and frayed edges add to the artsy look.

The center of the bloom features hand sewn glass beads, including a sparkling soft green glass leaf.

The backs are finished nicely with a round of eco-friendly, recycled felt and a securely hand-sewn metal pin clasp. A custom label is the final detail.

This is a festive holiday garland featuring my favorite retro Christmas colors of red and aqua. It's a little garland with big impact!

I've utilized left-over wrapping paper & card stock to create a fun garland - perfect for draping on a mantle, picture frame, around a doorway, on a small tree or anywhere you'd like to add some holiday fun. I've adhered the wrapping paper to card stock for durability and have used red card stock for hand stamped and gold embossed "holiday message" scallops.

This garland features:
- 16 scalloped punched rounds with various designs:

-- gold embossed "Holiday Cheer"
-- gold embossed "Joys of the Season"
-- aqua, silver & cream tone snow flakes
-- aqua, gold & white gift box / present
-- cute aqua, gold, & black tree

I've hand punched each 2" scallop design and slipped onto a piece of natural twine --- then hand-tied each with a piece of bright red fabric. The scallops can slide along the twine, so you can space them /place them where you'd like. Designs are one one side. Backs of scallops are plain, solid colors.

Total length of twine is 6 feet.

This handcrafted ornament is from my "Happy Pals" Collection and highlights a cute little owl sure to bring Merriment to your Holiday Season.

This piece features:

- a simple & fun hand drawn little owl on natural muslin
- a fabric scrap belly
- a sparkling clear glass bead detail

I've zig zag stitched the drawing onto a piece of pretty aqua / turquoise fabric, and have backed the ornament with a piece of cream tone felt. The raw edges have been hand frayed for a fun look.

A pretty candy-colored striped grosgrain ribbon loop is stitched in place for hanging.

Introducing...

a fun new design to my Les Scraps La Fleur Wearable Art Collection. This fresh and funky bracelet makes an artsy fashion accessory, and coordinates well with my fabric scrap pins. (Makes a great gift idea too!)

My bracelets / wrist cuffs are made from coordinating pieces of scrap fabric stitched together in a patchwork fashion. Fabric scraps are stitched to a piece of reinforced cotton with a second piece of muslin on the back. (Interfacing is "sandwiched" between to add durability). Edges are left raw and may continue to fray a bit with wear, further enhancing a "Bohemian Chic" look.

The centerpiece is one of my signature fabric posies detailed with eco-friendly felt leaves, embellished with tiny glass beads.

ADJUSTABLE SIZE --- One Size Fits Most!
This bracelet is finished with two elastic bands to loop around your choice of two sets of buttons, which provides flexibility with sizing.

SMALL Wrist - use the inner set of buttons to accommodate a small bracelet size - approx 6"

MED-LARGE Wrist - use the outer set set of buttons to accommodate a bracelet size of 7" - 8" (elastic will stretch to make a little larger, if needed.

They are fun and fashionable, and also so functional --- tissues pull out quietly - not like typical plastic travel tissue packs that make a “crinkle” noise. My tissue totes feature some of my favorite fabric remnants (many from well known designers) and are fully lined with a coordinating fabric. This set of four tags features whimsical designs, which I've recycled from left over wrapping paper and adhered to pretty white eyelet card stock. They're all set to use as gift tags, but would also be fun to use as cute paper ornaments tied to a tree.

Each tag is sized at approx. 2.5" w x 4.25" h. A scallop cut round of wrapping paper, (mounted on card stock)is featured on the front.

Holiday designs include:

I've added dots of silver glitter around the scallop cut design, and adhered the character pieces with pop dots to give a 3-D effect. Tags have been hand punched and looped with green and periwinkle blue cotton string.

My 2009 Holiday Collection also features artistic tags for Hanukkah. I created this set of little gold embossed fold-over gift tags to add a touch of sparkle and elegance to your Hanukkah celebrations.

This set includes 4 small note cards tags, sized at 2 1/8" h x 2 3/4” w. The paper I've used is high quality invitation stock with an ivory base and pretty blue and metallic gold designs.

I’ve embellished the front of each card with a small gold hand stamped and embossed menorah. I've cut the menorah design w/ a scalloped edge and added a base of coordinating card stock. The embellishment is not adhered flush to the card --- it "floats" slightly above the card, with a 3D effect. The insides are blank to provide a spot for you to write a name or short message.

Little Blue Birdie Painted Pin - Brooch

Hey There Birdie!

This handcrafted sweet pin features one of my mini signed original paintings, showcased in a fabric “frame,” which I craft by recycling some of my favorite fabric remnants. The entire front is sealed with an acrylic glaze, for durability.

I hand stitch the front to a felt backing, and include a small piece of cardboard sandwiched between, for extra support. The backside features a silver tone clasp, securely sewn in place, detailed with a “Made in CO*., tracybdesigns label." Finished pin size is approximately 2” square.

Little Birdie will add a special touch to your wardrobe. Pin her to your shirt, jacket, sweater, scarf, coat or purse.

I've incorporated two base layers of soft green and ivory tone faux silk-like rose petals, topped with 3 small fabric scraps. Each bloom is secured with a small cluster of hand sewn sparkling glass beads.

The base layer on each flower average 2"-2.25" in diameter. Staying true to my eco-chic process of my original “Les Scraps La Fleur” posies, each bloom incorporates small scraps of fabric, which might otherwise be thrown away -- making this an eco-friendly craft.
