All other foot stools will bow to this foot stool...adjustable you say... fabulous! A silver metal base with a padded seat covered in green textured, mottled vinyl fabric, complete with piping around the top and bottom edges and a big fat button in the center!

The stool adjusts in that the back side lifts up and can be set into three other teeth slots, so that when sitting in a chair, it will support your legs as well as your feet - fabulous! The mechanics are in fine working order and so is the seat covering. The stool measures 19 inches wide by 13 inches deep and stands 11 inches high. Know that the photos show brighter in the flash and a tad duller in the non-flash...so the green is really a blend of olives, avacados & limes...in my opinion. All in all, this will be an absolute darling addition to your home! Enjoy~

Not just for kids though, this would serve as a fabulous little overnight bag for a Girl's Night or a B&B trip with the honey. In wonderfully cool neutral steel blue grey, it's a hard case exterior with silver Chrome latches and trim. The interior is an ivory vinyl in a darling quilted pattern with ruffled fabric trim inside the lid and a mirror for quick touch-ups. The suitcase is in great vintage condition with only one visible mark which may come off with some TLC. It measures 16 1/2 inches long by 13 inches high and is 6 inches deep. Go on...pack up and go!

Mrs Gottshall was so excited when I bought this coat from her church's rummage sale...yes...she was there and alive and thrilled that her treasured coat would find new life!

It is a classic beauty and you'll never feel so elegant as in a black cashmere coat such as this. In wonderful vintage condition, it was obviously taken care of as all is where it should be and the oft damaged lining is in fabulous shape here. Beautifully made with the black exterior, then a black satin lining with a tweed layer sewn in between for added warmth. Great details as the mink collar, fabric covered buttons, interior elastic in the sleeves to keep out drafts and two pockets make this a must have piece in your closet. The tag on the inside notes it to be a Mary Lewis Exclusive for Sears, Roebuck & Co, USA. A set of three included here, these are absolutely adorable children's school readers with vibrant illustrations in all! Perfect for your book collection or stash of ephemera for collage, assemblage, mixed media, art, scrapbooking or cardmaking projects!

The first entitled "Friendly Village," first published in 1936, this one from 1941. Part of The Alice And Jerry Books ~ Reading Foundation Series and published by Row, Peterson and Company. 248 pages depicting life in the Friendly Village.

Another titled "Hello, David" printed in 1949 by the Scott, Forseman and Comany. Part of The Social Studies Program Curriculum Foundation Series. 160 pages of David and the people and things he meets.

The third, "New Centerville" first printed in 1938, this one from 1948 is part of the same series as the Hello, David book. 288 pages full of colorful illustrations.

The books measure 6 by 8 inches each. Two of them are stamped inside with "Property of the TOWN OF DERRY, N.H." Properly aged to perfection! Wear to front and back covers and spine. A few wrinkles, a few spots, some pencil marks but otherwise the inside pages are in great overall condition for their age! Plenty of great illustrations on almost every page! Sold as is.

I came across a handful of handmade shirts like this at a recent sale; all handmade, all found in the same pile...I think they're Vintage Maternity, but they'd look fab even with a teeny waist belted up or layered over a thin T shirt - adorable!!

This one is in the most adorable style; short sleeves with an empire bust line with Bow detail. A split collar and two pockets also decorate the front. The top zips up in back and has two fasteners. The pattern is a wonderfully fun plaid in tones of Red, Yellow, Green and White. I've looked it over and don't see any stains or spots. I would say the shirt should fit a medium, possibly a large, but please take your measurements and compare them with the ones I've carefully taken below.

I only wish these fabulous Vintage Drapes fit in any of the 36 windows in my old house...but they don't...so I'm forced to part with them!

A Gorgeous Vibrant pattern that looks like new! Flowers in rich tones of Deep Red, Blue, Yellow, Green and Coral cover the entire curtains. There's absolutely zero fading of the bright colors. I'm not sure what the fabric is, but its quite a heavy drape. On the exterior side, the drapes are sewn with a white lining, which does show some age spots.

Gathered in a triple pleat every 4 inches allows for a very professional and fancy look. Dimensions are 35" across the top and 29 inches long; use them as a dramatic large Valence or little cafe curtains. These were meant to hang on the old hook track, but could easily adapt to more modern times with the clip rings you can find just about anywhere today. Enjoy~

Ooooh...I've seen a lot of train cases in my day, but this one is just so delightful! The rich caramel brown color is the greatest neutral and the rally stripes all the way around at the latches, in brown and ivory call to mind a delicious cup of coffee!

Made by Samsonite, this gem is part of the smart Concord collection. This case comes complete with the vanity tray in fine condition and a key to lock up your goodies. Inside the case is a full mirror on the lid and a large zippered compartment in a cool tweed fabric, lined in plastic of course. Inside the little pocket, a magic potion spilled at one time leaving a stain, but you'd never know it to look at it. The original Casino Royale is one of my favorite movies...not for the James Bond reasons, but for the over-the-top set designs of the 1960s and wacky luxurious clothing! This Alison Ayres Original dress would have fit right in!

In a bright coral tone, this dress is a Maxi in all forms; floor length, long sleeves, high neck, and lots of draped fabric. The highlight of this piece is the sunset style bodice. While scrutinizing the dress, I did come across a few little black spots near the hem of the dress, which I'll leave to the buyer to attempt to clean (my husband will tell you I'm no good at stain removal - lol!) This is a fabulous old Powder Box style Music Box...the same style I used to play with on my Grandmom's dresser. Silver metal with a flower decoration around the sides and a Pearl decor on the lid. I've seen many with pictures on the lid, but never any with pearls! This little gem was missing two feet, so of course I replaced them with pretty beads and now it stands happily straight again! This is a "Billie Ross of the Palm Beaches" handbag - everything Palm Beach conveys! Comprised of many elements, the base is white wicker with a Pearl Lucite frame and handles. Front and back are covered with a colorful floral fabric that's as stylish today as it was the day it was made. White Rick Rack Trim separates the fabric into blocks and finishes the edges. A fantastic detail is the little ladybug who sits in one of the blocks on the bag's front side.

The inside is white vinyl and is seperated into two sections via a center zippered compartment. One side of the interior also has a pocket. This bag stands 13" tall from the feet to the top of the handles. It is 10.5" wide and 3.5" deep. There are a few discolorations and one side is faded a bit but nothing that takes away from the overall appearance of this precious summer bag.

The bow detaches on the right of the zipper with hook and eye clasps so you can zip up the dress and then fasten the bow. As with all vintage, this dress does show some wear. On the train piece there are several stains within an inch of the hemline. The hem is coming out and of course the dress could use a good cleaning and steaming to bring it back to its glory. As vintage dresses go, this one is a gem and is as stunningly fashionable today as it was the day it was made! I've carefully taken measurements to ensure a good fit and these seem to be teetering around a US Size 6 or 8. Enjoy~

Playing Juliet in a Play or need a costume for Halloween? Renewing your vows in Vegas or going to the Renaissance Fair? The lines are fantastic on this beautifully simple Gown and Robe by Vanity Fair and would serve as the perfect dress for any occasion!

The Gown has the most darling, and always flattering, empire waist with a zipper and hook and eye at the back. The Robe has long sleeves ending in a wrist cuff with 2 covered buttons and loops. Quilting covers then entire ivory bottom and the Robe fastens at the empire waist with 5 more buttons. The top portions of both pieces are a black velveteen polyester and the lower is in a slinky ivory nylon. There are 3 belt loops if you choose to add one yourself; the original is not here.

As with all items vintage, there are some slight signs of wear, but none take away from the beautiful lines and overall appearance of this fabulous set. The tags on the inside show Vanity Fair, Size 14 and Irreg (can't seem to find what's irregular about it!) My Model is a Size 10, 5'5" tall and it fit her perfectly. These have been freshly laundered.

This is a vintage Garay Belt, so chic and fun in bright Green. Perk up any top with a cinch of this little lovely! I've always been a fan of pulling off Pajamas as clothing. Not in the way of just wearing flannel jammies out to the store, but the "What? Those are Pajamas...I never would have guessed!?" way.

This shirt can totally be one of those pieces. Belt it, as I've done for photo purposes and you have a romantic little top or (very!) light jacket to wear with a pencil skirt, sure to make your cubicle neighbors green with envy. On the weekend...wear it atop jeans, tee, and wrap a scarf around your neck...and ta-da!

The tag shows it to be a size small, but I'm a large and it fits me fine, as it's a flowy loose top. The Small size notation would probably apply best to the length as it's a cropped style. I've taken measurements for you to compare your size against to ensure a good fit. There is a small spot (1 inch long) on the collar seam under where it folds over, that needs repairing; a few stitches will do the trick, but I'll leave that to the professionals! Enjoy~

In a lovely Gold Metallic, they're sure to add a little zing to any outfit you choose. With the extended Pilgrim instep and trimmed with a Rhinestone Circle buckle, these 2 inch heels will last you through the night. They have been worn, but we'll just consider them broken in and any imperfections, stories of their former life! The Pink Panther...this coat is way cooler! So many awesome details add up to make this Vintage Mulberry Street number the coveted style that it is.

In the always popular Trench style, this Mulberry has a belted waist, a single breasted 5 button closure, 2 button cuffs, and a Quilted nylon lining for an extra layer of warmth. The exterior is a cotton/poly blend and is reminiscent of the appearance of canvas or almost pique; durable and a nice textured look. The coolest asset by far is the Chevron Stripe detail across the back and on each of the four front pockets; two flap breast pockets, and two hip pockets. An Enigma of Green...(I think!) This Tiara model train case by American Tourister is such a cool color - a very dark Army Green that almost looks Black or very dark Khaki in some lights.

Deco lines on the latches and handles are set into the cool silver trim on the exterior. The case opens with the flip down latches and reveals a lovely green floral quilted fabric interior. The ruffle outlines the lid interior and the entire bottom and sides are plastic lined. There are three (still very elastic) bands on the back wall to hold your miracle potions. As is with all vintage, there is some wear to be had, but none that takes away from being able to travel with a fabulous old Tiara by American Tourister Train Case! The case measures 14 inches wide by 9 inches deep and stands 8 1/2 inches high (not including the handle). Happy travels in style!

Your skinny jeans told me they are longing for a pair of fabulous vintage calf high boots to compliment! A one inch heel, and the boots measure 13 1/2 inches tall at the highest point. The size inside is an 8, but perhaps a 7 1/2 would be a better fit with the insole measuring 9 1/2 inches. Tell your skinny jeans I said "you're welcome!"

White with the most darling gathered cap sleeves I've seen in a while! Purple eyelet trim edges the top and sleeves as well as along the bottom in the front. A little purple bow has been pinned on and I'll leave it up to you if you'd like to remove it. White lace edges the entire bottom hem and also around the neckline. Made by Belinda, the tag notes it to be a size medium, but measurements below will ensure a good fit. Though the measurements could fit a large, the little sleeve cut in above the bust would better fit a medium.

It's in great condition, save for a small area on the back bottom seam where the netting has been torn, but I only saw it after scrutinizing. Circa 1940's.
