This lampwork glass necklace was handmade in my studio from Vetrofond Italian glass. It is a continuation of the exploration of pressing glass that began in my Droplet series and which I am calling my Droplet Stick series. Each long bead is comprised of a glass donut bail, a long cylinder of glass and a pressed glass circle made of transparent light and medium amethyst. The lengths of the beads are graduated from a long piece at the center, flanked my two medium length pieces at the sides, with the two side beads as light amethyst, and the center long bead as a medium tone. All 3 pieces are well-fused and the spacers shown will be included with the glass beads. I am truly inspired by the possibilities in the manipulation and organization of these glass discs, and will continue this exploration to see where it leads me. The beads measure between approximately 69mm and 57 mm high x 10mm wide x 9.5 mm thick at the bail(2 3/4" to 2 1/4" high x 3/8" x 3/8"). This set is modern yet feminine, and would look just as lovely with a tank top as with a gown. Dressed up or dressed down, this set is a stunner!

This set of 5 glass discs was created in my studio from Moretti Italian glass. Rubino Oro transparent glass was pressed into discs that overlap on another when worn, adding a darker colors to the existing color. Included are 5 dark pink/rose discs. I am including silver spacers as shown because I like the way it looks, but the set can also be worn without. The beads are approximately 12mm wide x 18mm long (1/2" x 11/16"). This is a fun set with a minimalist style but a lot of interest!

This set is best hung simply from a chain, but could be used as part of a larger bead creation.The beads have been kiln annealed for longevity and cleaned with a diamond reamer. The beads were created on a 3/32" mandrel. I will provide this bead set on a steel cable choker with magnetic clasp. This set of 3 glass discs was created in my studio from Moretti Italian glass. Grey transparent glass was pressed into discs that overlap on another when worn, adding a darker color to the existing medium warm grey. I am including silver spacers as shown because I like the way it looks, but the set can also be worn without. The beads are approximately 12mm wide x 18mm long (1/2" x 11/16"). This is a fun set with a minimalist style but a lot of interest!

This set is best hung simply from a chain, but could be used as part of a larger bead creation.

This lampwork glass pendant and 2 coordinating glass discs were handmade in my studio from Effetre Italian glass. It is a continuation of the exploration of pressing glass that began in my original Droplet series and which I am calling my Interlaced Droplet series. It is comprised of a glass donut bail and 2 pressed glass circles made of transparent medium steel grey. The pendant discs are set parallel and perpendicular to the glass bail. They were designed to sit snug to the 2 matte finish tumbled light steel grey Droplet Discs that accompany them. They are well-fused and are shown here with spacers that will be included with the 3 beads. I am truly inspired by the possibilities in the manipulation and organization of these glass discs, and will continue this exploration to see where it leads me. The pendant measures approximately 25.5mm high x 10.25mm wide x 10mm thick(1" x 7/16" x 7/16").

These lampwork glass beads were handmade in my studio from Effetre Italian glass. It is a continuation of the exploration of pressing glass that began in my Droplet series and which I am calling my Propeller Droplet Disc series. Each bead is comprised of a glass donut bail surrounded by 3 pressed glass discs. The 5 beads are in gradated sizes and shades of transparent green. The beads nestle together next to each other, creating a cluster of overlapping glass planes which adds depth and tones of color to the transparent glass. Included are 2 light green, 2 medium green and a central dark green bead. They are well-fused and are shown here with spacers that will be included with the beads. I am truly inspired by the possibilities in the manipulation and organization of these glass discs, and will continue this exploration to see where it leads me. The beads measure between approximately 30mm around x 14mm wide to 27.5mm around x 11mm wide (1 1/8" around x 9/16" wide to 1" around x 7/16" wide). Nestled together, the cluster of 3 beads is approximately 36.5mm (1 7/16") wide.

You can simply string them on a silver chain, wire-wrap them to create necklace or bracelet, or incorporate them into a wonderful piece of wearable art. The choice is up to you!

Red and orange transparent glass was pressed into discs that overlap on another when worn, adding other intermediate colors to the existing 2 colors. The orange discs have been tumbled for a matte finish. Included are 2 matte orange and 3 transparent red discs. The striking glass used for these beads also creates variations within each bead with areas of darker and lighter tones. This lampwork glass bead set was handmade in my studio from Effetre Italian glass. It is a continuation of the exploration of pressing glass that began in my Droplet series and which I am calling my Propeller Droplet Disc series. Each bead is comprised of a glass donut bail surrounded by 3 pressed glass discs all in transparent ink blue. The beads nestle together next to each other, creating a cluster of overlapping glass planes which adds depth and tones of color to the transparent glass. I am truly inspired by the possibilities in the manipulation and organization of these glass discs, and will continue this exploration to see where it leads me. The beads measure between approximately 23mm around x 13mm wide(7/8" around x 1/2"). Nestled together, the cluster of 3 beads is approximately 28mm (1 1/8") wide.

The beads have been kiln annealed for longevity and cleaned with a diamond reamer. The beads were created on a 3/32" mandrel. I will provide this bead set on a steel cable choker with magnetic clasp. The necklace shown is not included as part of this listing, but can be purchased from me (add request in notes to seller) - 16" 1mm sterling silver omega for $16, 18" 1.5mm omega for $24.

Rubino Propeller Droplet Disc 3 lampwork

These lampwork glass beads were handmade in my studio from Effetre Italian glass. They are a continuation of the exploration of pressing glass that began in my Droplet series and which I am calling my Propeller Droplet Disc series. Each bead is comprised of a glass donut bail surrounded by 3 pressed glass discs. The 3 beads shown are made of a gold-imbued glass named Rubino Oro which has a lovely deep rose-pink tone. The beads nestle together next to each other, creating a cluster of overlapping glass planes which adds depth and tones of color to the transparent glass. Included are 3 dark pink beads. They are well-fused and are shown here with spacers that will be included with the beads. I am truly inspired by the possibilities in the manipulation and organization of these glass discs, and will continue this exploration to see where it leads me. The beads measure between approximately 26mm around x 12mm wide (1" around x 1/2" wide). Nestled together, the cluster of 3 beads is approximately 24.5mm (1") wide.

You can simply string them on a silver chain, wire-wrap them to create necklace or bracelet, or incorporate them into a wonderful piece of wearable art. The choice is up to you!
