Originally the intent was for this to be a guy's necklace, but so many of my men's necklaces have been purchased by women that I think I'm giving up the gender differences.

Hand-linked gunmetal chain and a simple wire wrapped Pietersite briolette that measures about half an inch, finished with a gunmetal lobster claw clasp.

Measures 17 3/4, with extension it measures just under 19 inches.

Pietersite has a connection to the storm element and is thus called the Tempest Stone. It is believed to hold the keys to the kingdom of heaven.
Pietersite links daily consciousness to the spiritual.
Used as a stone of vision, it works well during meditation to access higher levels of awareness, stimulating the third eye and increasing your inherent intuition.

I just love even looking at this specimen. Here I used a combination of golden honey crackle glass beads and golden mother of pearl rounds on golden 7 strand beading wire. Has a dragonfly toggle clasp.

I had this design in my head for months and finally got it out. This duo is representative of stars, moons, and things galaxy oriented. It makes a lovely tinkling sound when moved. Constructed using various star bits and sky pieces collected here and there *smiles*.

The Eta Carinae Nebula (also known as the Great Nebula in Carina, the Carina Nebula, or NGC 3372) is a large bright nebula that surrounds several open clusters of stars. Eta Carinae and HD 93129A, two of the most massive and luminous stars in our Milky Way galaxy, are among them. The nebula lies at an estimated distance between 6,500 and 10,000 light years from Earth. It is located in the constellation of Carina. The nebula contains multiple O-type stars.

The nebula is one of the largest diffuse nebulae in our skies. Although it is some four times as large and even brighter than the famous Orion Nebula, the Eta Carinae Nebula is much less well known, due to its location far in the Southern Hemisphere. It was discovered by Abbé Lacaille in 1751–52 from the Cape of Good Hope.

A unique handmade necklace using Tiger Eye and Sodalite chips, featuring a Lapis Lazuli pendant on 7 strand beading wire. The crimp ends are interesting, in that there is a coil inside the crimp, giving quite the extra grip.

The necklace measures approximately 21.75 inches. The Lapis pendant, including chips, measures 2 2/3 inches.

Metaphysically both Sodalite and Lapis Lazuli support the Throat chakra while Tiger Eye supports the Solar Plexus chakra.

A beautiful Chartres gold plated pewter pendant hangs from gold plated chain featuring 3 tiger eye droplets. The tiger eye drops have loops at the bottom to mimic the lunations of the labyrinth (granted they're hard to see on the pendant).

Measures a little over 18 3/4 inches, labyrinth is about an inch in diameter. Closes with a lobster claw clasp.

The Chartres, 11-circuit Labyrinth was constructed around 1201 AD in the stone floor of Chartres Cathedral, France. Its
distinguishing features are; 11 circuits, the turns arranged in four quadrants, lunations or teeth around the perimeter, and a 6-petal rosette in the center. Medieval Christians visited Chartres (and other cathedrals) and walked the labyrinth instead of taking a hazardous pilgrimage to Jerusalem to walk in the "foot steps of Christ." Modern "pilgrims" walk the labyrinthine path as one of many tools to enhance prayer, contemplation, meditation, and/or personal growth.

Celtic Luck - Necklace

I have a habit of making three stranded necklaces, and here is another beauty thereof. Hand-linked chain, green mother of pearl shell discs, and a steel four-leafed clover.

Measures approximately 20 inches, closes with a hook and eye clasp.

It was the Druids (Celtic priests) who elevated four leaf clovers to the status of Celtic charms, allegedly potent against malevolent spirits. Their status as Celtic charms is the origin of the modern belief in their power to bestow good luck.

The superstition that the finding of a four-leaf clover can bring good luck is so old that its origin is lost in antiquity.
