It had been a curious day to begin with, the maid thought. That rain from out of nowhere, the escape of the imported elephant from the local zoo, the constable's teacup breaking of its own accord at breakfast that morning at the hotel. And of course, the murder. The maid had gone to clean room 13. She knocked on the door, rung her bell, and called "Maid service!" Silence from within the room. She opened the door and dropped her bell.

This necklace features a vintage bell, an antique skeleton key and a blood red glass bead with a chain tassel at the bottom. The bell really rings, if you think this will bother you I can muffle its sound (please tell me you want this in the notes to seller at checkout or I will leave it be). The antique brass finish chain is 30 inches long. The charms are 3 inches long.

This necklace is made from plate from a vintage light meter that I proudly gutted myself. The meter was already broken. Light meters are devices used in photography involving real film (no digital here!) that measure available light.

This necklace is silvery-gray with black and red accents. This one reminds me of piano keys. The plate is 2 1/4 inches by 1 inch. The chain is 16 inches long.

Betty Crocker would be proud. This ring is made from a vintage plastic knob that says OVEN. It's big and black with a classy geometric design. And it's huge!! It is very lightweight, you won't feel like you are wearing a giant ring and therefore can't move your hand for fear of breaking it. The ring is adjustable to fit all sizes and the finger of your choice, and it won't slip around despite the size of the topper. This one is a real gem!

The top of the ring is 2 inches by 1 inch. If you look at it in profile, the distance from the top of the ring to the silver of the ring is an inch as well.

A great gift for anyone with a lucky number. These rings are made from keys from a vintage keyboard. The keys are brown with cream lettering. Each one has a different second fuction (parenthesis, etc.) and some of them have a color abbreviation on the side.

The last of my beloved vintage 1950s white enameled chain. This necklace features a vintage silver watch movement and an assortment of vintage and new chain. Simple, but that white chain really pops from far away!

The watch movement is 1 1/4 inches across and 3 1/4 inches down including the cluster of chains. The necklace chain is 26 inches long.

The Claw Necklace

The prettiest claw you'll ever see! This necklace is made from some great vintage parts, including a fabulous brass claw-type charm. I'm not sure what it's original function was; it has hinges and can be opened to reveal two rows of little teeth, but if you try this beware that the bottom of the necklace will fall out! I have added a lovely mix of brass and gold chain hanging from the claw, studded with a variety of charms and beads, including a gold gear, a green stone, a vintage ivory bead, and a scalloped brass bead. This necklace is long and luxurious, with a thin gold chain that is 26 inches long and a drop (claw included) that is another 5 inches. The dangling part will not fall out of the claw unless you open it (and it is easy to put back in) because the teeth hold the chain in.
