In the Kingdom of Thunderhead there lies a dark and forbidding place called the Forgotten Forest. This place is dark and full of mystical powers; it is home of countless numbers of monsters, goblins, and creatures of all sorts.

It is called the Forgotten Forest because it was the one and only monster forest not destroyed by the Witches Counsel long ago. It has grown larger than all of the ancient monster forests combined. There are other places where monsters reside, but they seem to be drawn far and wide to this forest by some unnatural force.

Traveling through the forest is not considered a wise thing to do, but it is the fastest way to get to the echo mountains, so some do enter in and out of it frequently. Its best to go as fast as you can and wear a disguise of some sort. False goblin ears have become a prized possession and sell very well in the nearby village of Happycloud.

If you do manage to make friends with a monster consider yourself truly lucky, especially if they are from the Forgotten forest. Monsters tend to stick with there own kind, and they must really see something special if they choose you to befriend.

Greables are flying creatures from the Echo mountains. They hardly ever fly though; they spend most of there time in underground burrows. They are friendly beings, but they don't get many visitors to the Echo mountains, so they are kind of shy.

Thunderhead Castle is the royal home to The Mad King Renaldo and Evil Queen Zaralinda. It is a gloomy place, most of its inhabitants are not very happy or nice. It has many dark corners, creepy corridors and drafty dungeons. It is the perfect home for lots of bats and loads of the squeaky flying things can be found there. The bats may be the only happy part of the entire castle. They have lots of places to hide and sleep and lots of tall towers to fly in and all around.

Glixxo is half pixie and half monster, he lives in the Forgotten Forest. He is a playful silly creature, who loves playing tricks and giggling. He spends most of his time making up songs and rhymes, to sing and dance to. Some monsters aren't too fond of Glixxo his temperament is too light and cheery for them, but for the most part he is tolerated. Monsters tend to be pretty accepting when it comes to other monsters.

The Forgotten Forest is populated with a wide variety of monsters and goblins. Most of the monsters are actually pretty harmless, too small to do anything too horrible. However, watch out these tiny monsters sometimes band together in little gangs and love to harass travelers. Li’l monsters sometimes grow to be humongous monsters, either by eating healthy and exercise, or by some magic spell or potion. Either, way it's best to make friends with these monsters while they are small and easy to deal with.

A fun little booklet about the monsters of Happycloud Thunderhead, with 20 pages of drawings by Daniel Allyn Lee.
the book measures 5 1/2 x 8 1/2 in. (14 x 21.5 cm). The cover is in full color and the inside pages are in black and white.
You can color in it if you want, but I wouldn't call it a coloring book. You can swat bugs with it as well but I wouldn't call it a flyswatter.
This is my first zine. This isn't a serial but there will most likely be more zines made.
If you like monsters you might like this book too, but there is no guarantee. Although, 4 out of five monsters surveyed recommend this book strongly. (3 out of those 4, however, actually ate the book instead of reading it.)
If requested the author will sign your copy.

bjurgaleenis are strange plant like creatures that can be found in the damp corners of Thunderhead Kingdom. They really don’t do much but observe the world and quietly murmur to each other. Some have speculated that they actually have a very rich lives with complex social structures that is simply misunderstood and unseen by other species. They have been tested and do seem to have the capabilities of movement at a very very slow pace that is only minutely noticeable. Much about the bjurgaleenis remains a mystery, but they do look pretty arranged in a nice bowl.

Arville is an affable monster with a insatiable curiosity. I wouldn't call him a busybody, but he does tend to stick his nose into everyone's business just to know whats going on. Most monsters just let this slip but there are some monsters in the Forgotten Forest that you simple don't want to annoy, and Arville has had his run ins. He usually just gets more curious about why they would react that way and asks more questions.
