Stoneware clay wall hanging suitable for indoors or out.
Hand carved original design cast in plaster. Then each version is hand pressed, altered, and stamped so no two are alike. The piece is bisque fired and then decorated with hand painted glaze. It then is loaded into a large gas kiln and fired to 2400 degrees. I finish the pieces with a hand wired and beaded hanger.

The Sacred Heart combined with the Eye of Protection because couldn't all our hearts use a bit of protection

Stoneware clay tile suitable for indoors or out, can be used as an accent tile in an installation or simply hung on the wall as a beautiful and unique wall decoration.
Hand carved original design which is then cast in plaster. Then each version is hand pressed, altered, and stamped so no two are alike. The piece is bisque fired and then decorated with hand painted glaze. It then is loaded into a large electric kiln and fired to 2200 degrees. I finish the pieces with a hand wired hanger and signature on the back.

About the image: The Venus of Willendorf was found in 1908 near Willendorf in Austria, not far from the Danube river. She is over 30,000 years old and is one of the oldest surviving icons of femininity.
Symbolically it is supposed that she represented the plenty and fertile nature of the earth and of the creation continuation of life. For me personally she acts as a model of a different standard of beauty creating reverent and sacred image of a woman of size.
