This vintage scary woman (originally a 1908 soap ad girl- go figure) has been part of a psychiatric study which has been hand collaged into a card suitable for all woman. The inside of the card states:

"A study conducted by UCLA's department of Psychiatry has revealed that the kind of face a woman finds attractive on a man can differ depending on where she is in her menstrual cycle. For example: if she is ovulating, she is attracted to men with rugged and masculine features. Vintage 1930's Bakelite Kitchenware Batter Pitcher

This large, antique Bakelite Glass Batter Pourer is a rare find! The heavy glass pitcher is balster shaped, with a starburst bottom reading "Made in the USA", and was very popular in kitchens all over America during the 1930’s. 11 inches tall and 5 inches across at it's widest, the top dispenser screws onto the glass and has a beautiful deep green Bakelite handle.
This glass piece might have been an unused wedding gift, because it came right out of an attic box in pristine condition, including the original paper seal ring between the glass and the chrome lid. The lid has some tiny oxidation marks (I believe? Zoom in on the first photo to view) and the lovely piece is shipped insured in a Priority Flat Rate Box for both Domestic and International.

She lost her hands due to natural paper doll causes.
Some weren’t so lucky: according to legend,
the brother used to hang the dolls via a paper clip and chop off their heads. Luckily this one escaped, because “Look Ma no Head” just doesn’t make for a very funny greeting card.
