KATRINA BALLERINA:This sweet layering cardigan was designed for my beautiful sister Katie! A perfect cardigan for ballet class or throwing on over your favorite tank or long sleeved shirt, the Katrina Ballerina Lace Layering Cardigan will work well in almost any wool, silk, or cashmere!

Knit from the top down, the cardigan is comprised of two main sections: a modified, gentle ballet neck with the increases that happen before the sleeves separate from the body, and the long Bodice Lace body section, which reminds me of traditional ballet corsets. It is a very flattering piece—the vertical lines slim and lengthen the torso, and the top section stops above your mid-bust, creating a more modern A-line silhouette!

Suggested Yarn: No Two Snowflakes, Sundara ASM, Handmaiden Silk Maiden, Knitpicks Wool of the Andes
Yarn weight: Worsted- Aran
Gauge: 20 rows and 18 stitches = 4” in straight stockinette
Needle size: US 8 or 9, whatever is needed to obtain gauge.

FLYING TRAPEZE:
Inspired by fluttering costumes of trapeze performers, this cozy and comfortable, yet light and airy Trapeze line Flutter Sleeve Tunic is the ideal layering piece! Great to throw on over yoga clothes, or as a casual back-to-school sweater, the Aran yarn and lace stitching makes this a super speedy knit… Knit in the round, “Flying Trapeze” features a modified traditional lace stitch body, with a sweet scooping ballet neck and wide set shoulder, soft flutter sleeves, and an oversize bottom hem to add to the flattering tunic line. This top-down, seamless sweater can be knit to a shorter length to be worn with jeans or a few inches longer to be worn layered over leggings or cigarette pants. It works well with either a camisole or long sleeved shirt underneath, and has a free and unrestricted bust area to allow for better layering. ROCKEFELLER CENTER:
This luxurious sweater shrug was inspired by the ice skaters at Rockefeller Center at Christmastime; I love watching skaters holding hands and whizzing around the rink beneath the giant, light-studded tree!
Bright Dk Weight Cashmere is transformed into a cozy skating shrug that features ultra-soft and lofty Thermal Ribbed sleeves, collar, and edging, with a wrap-over front for extra warmth, and rhinestone buttons for a bit of holiday sparkle… A perfect little cardigan for ice skating, skiing, or throwing on over your favorite tank or long sleeved shirt, this sweet shrug is also a fantastic accent to wear with formal holiday dresses. The Rockefeller Center Shrug will work well in almost any wool/silk, Merino, or luxurious cashmere; try Great Northern Yarns mink/cashmere for an especially scrumptious knit —smaller yardage makes this a great project for luxury yarn use!
Knit from the top down, the shrug is seamlessly made… the collar and bottom band are knit right onto the body, so no sewing is required. Rockefeller Center has a modern silhouette that is very clean, and the shaping can be made more or less A-line as you desire. Simple enough to be knit in solid, semi-solid, or handpainted colorways, you will want to knit this again and again…cozy up to this decadent little shrug!

As with all luxury fibers, I highly recommend dry cleaning. However, a very minimal amount of spinning oil has been left in this yarn for ease while knitting, so you may choose to wash the skein gently first in a mild wool wash, or soak it before the initial blocking to rid it of the very last of the oil and cause your cashmere to reach its bloom!

Errata **Row 8 of the warm-up section**-- instead of "P to the last marker" it should read "P to the last 6 stitches" the pattern has since been corrected-- but if you purchased this pattern before May 14th, please email me at NoTwoSnowflakes@aol.com for an updated version.
Typo ** a very few patterns were mailed out by mistake which read that on Row 25 and 26 you should repeat button band rows 9 and 10. This should read button band rows 11 and 12.

This luxurious sweater shrug was inspired by the ice skaters at Rockefeller Center at Christmastime; I love watching skaters holding hands and whizzing around the rink beneath the giant, light-studded tree!
Bright Dk Weight Cashmere is transformed into a cozy skating shrug that features ultra-soft and lofty Thermal Ribbed sleeves, collar, and edging, with a wrap-over front for extra warmth, and rhinestone buttons for a bit of holiday sparkle… A perfect little cardigan for ice skating, skiing, or throwing on over your favorite tank or long sleeved shirt, this sweet shrug is also a fantastic accent to wear with formal holiday dresses. The Rockefeller Center Shrug will work well in almost any wool/silk, Merino, or luxurious cashmere; try Great Northern Yarns mink/cashmere for an especially scrumptious knit —smaller yardage makes this a great project for luxury yarn use!
Knit from the top down, the shrug is seamlessly made… the collar and bottom band are knit right onto the body, so no sewing is required. As with all luxury fibers, I highly recommend dry cleaning. However, a very minimal amount of spinning oil has been left in this yarn for ease while knitting, so you may choose to wash the skein gently first in a mild wool wash, or soak it before the initial blocking to rid it of the very last of the oil and cause your cashmere to reach its bloom!

An unbelievably gorgeous pattern! This is a unique and exciting knitting experience, an excellent choice for an intermediate-advanced lace knitter! When Karen and I brainstormed about this design, we liked the dramatic shape of the hexagon, and Karen's design has far exceeded my lofty hopes for this idea:) The pattern is composed of four charts and is a hexagonal shape with an elegant lace patterned center section... the flaming lace motif descends to a dramatic arched and pointed lace border. This is a fantastic shawl to wear, it is very large and drapes about the body in a beautiful, exciting manner! Truly heirloom quality, you will be stunning in this piece-- a dark and dramatic shape!

I designed this quick-knit cowl in order to show off a beautiful skein of Hand Dyed or Handspun yarn– the simple floating stitches show inch long lengths of handspun, and the airy seed “bubble” shape of the collar is extra warm and light at the same time! Float away on clouds of yummy yarn!
This cowl is knit in the round, and is a stylish accessory for when you need just a little added warmth or coverage…Wear in an air-conditioned office, with a little tunic , or as an extra winter layering piece. A great finishing touch, and once you make one you will want to make many more- perfect for gifting!

This sweet, lacey sock was inspired by Emile Waldteufel’s classical composition “The Skater’s”, also known more popularly as the “Skater’s Waltz”!
Knit from the cuff down, the Skater’s Waltz Sock uses a traditional, vintage-feel lace stitch to create a delicate, icy pattern, and has steady repeats of this stitch, accented by changing colors. The lace pattern also creates a beautiful and interesting shape of the sock at the top cuff, reminiscent of the way an ice skate looks against the ankle. Eyelet rows even provide the opportunity to “lace” your skate sock up, if you should so choose, by weaving i-cord through the eyelets-- as you would lace up a skate!

Color B = Claudia Handpainted Yarns Fingering
