Pick your basket, pick your laundry card, roll the die,

Land on the washer and choose one of your laundry pieces to go into the laundry.

Land on the dryer and move any one of your pieces of laundry in the washer machine into the dryer.

Land on the "Put Away" space and move any one of your laundry pieces from the dryer to either the closet or the dresser (which one is up to you)

When Landon stopped speaking at age 2, my whole goal was that we were going to communicate using what ever method we had to. The different types of communication we used was signing, electronic communication, and pointing boards. The Teacch Program showed me how to use pictures more effectively. In the beginning, I had to teach Landon these concepts by the hand-over-hand method, gradually pulling away till he was able to do it by himself. Landon got the hang of it and we used communication boards and schedules until he was able to communicate on his own. Today, you would never believe that he ever had a problem with communicating. I get compliments all the time. The hard work paid off. This is why communication boards are so important to me and why I have different types available.(polyxo.com is a great place to learn this method)

This communication board can be used for a child just beginning the Pecs system by just offering 1 or 2 choices and using 1 area of the board. This can develope into teaching the child to effectively communicate his entire day to you. I would always ask Landon's teachers some activities he participated in and than I would ask him about his day. In time, he was able to tell me correct activities.
Ask your child's teacher what he did that day. Offer 1 of the ones you know he did and one that you know he didn't do and see what transpires. If he gives you the wrong card, I would say "Are you sure you did that today? Try again". Put the cards back and try again. Once the child gives you the correct card, praise him for giving you the correct card and watch his face light up with a smile.
It's tough in the beginning, but well worth it in the end.

This schedule is for breaking down chores/jobs in the bathroom. This could be placed in the bathroom by hole punching the top and using a suction cup to suction to a mirror. This chart could be used in a home or work setting.

This board can be used for a chore or chores for the day or for the week.

Place a chore or chores (job or jobs) you would like to be completed in a given day on the board. When the chore or job gets completed, place a check mark next to it.

You can place all the chores (jobs) on the board for the week. Check mark next to which chores (jobs) were completed for that day. Wipe off for the next day if they have to repeat the same chore (job) or leave the mark on to let your child or employee know that this has been completed and they can work on a new chore (job).
My son uses this board to work on chores in the bathroom. He does one or two chores a day.

This is a 24 set of flash cards for use in learning coins. I suggest supplementing this set of cards with real coins. I made these cards so you can easily lay it on the table and cover up the words with the back of one of the other cards.

Working on a farm is tough especially when you try to get animals in a pen.

This is a FARM ANIMAL GAME

complete with playing board, 1 MULTI COLORED DIE, 4 playing pieces of FARMERS, 4 PEN Game cards and 24 farm animals

NOW INCLUDES: (NOT PICTURED) 1 MULTI COLRED DIE

Roll the die and move around the board. Land on the farm animals and put one in your PEN. Watch out-one of your farm animals got loose and have to put one back.

Game board and pieces have been heat laminated and is on 110 lb card stock and using velcro coin hook and loop.

Benefits: RECOGNITION OF ANIMALS AND THEIR NAMES and just plain fun!

This is a WASH THE DISHES game board.

Complete with 2 playing boards-each board measures 8 1/2" x 11

Instructions

Boards and pieces have been heat laminated on 5 ml laminate and have velcro coins

Pick your playing piece, pick your dish card, roll the die.

Land on the wash and choose one of your utencil pieces to be washed.

Land on the dry and move any one of your utencils from the sink to be dried.

Land on the "Put Away" space and move any one of your utencils from being dried to either the china cabinet or the utencil holder.

The first one to wash, dry and put away all 4 utencils wins.
