I am not sure what this was originally used for. Anyone with info feel free to convo me. I think it may be Victorian.

This shell dish/bowl is a good size. I thought it would be nice with some fruit in it or use in a bathroom with holding several soaps.

It was hand painted many years ago and I would use can when washing it.There is gold trim around the bottom and top edges.
You could put Christmas ornaments in it or whatever you choose to do with it.

This has interesting paintings on each side. There is a different ballerina scene on each.
It would look great in a girl's room.

There is vintage wear..mostly on the bottom inside and out.

The scenes are handpainted, looks like paint by number. The scenes have mission churches in them and a castle on one side. I believe she is a Spanish ballerina.

The inside is a brassy color. Is this brass?

Here's a pretty black bag with gold embroidered designs.
There is a section at the top that is 4" deep and at the bottom there is a zippered section that is 4" deep also(you can put your small packet of tissues in there).

One of the rings that attaches the chain handle to the purse is missing. It has been repaired with a gold colored elastic cord. That would need to be replaced if you are using the handle. The handle can also be hidden inside.

This is a neat compact. It is the first one I have seen with a leather cover. The gold detailed design looks Persian to me.
The powder and powder screen are still intact. The lid shuts tight. The mirror has a few weak areas where the backing is showing through.
It has normal vintage wear on the leather and a bit on the clasp. Please look it over carefully.

This is a wonderful Victorian stamped brass with a silver wash or plate.

The links between the sections of the belt are welded.

It measures:28" long X 1& 1/8" wide. The buckle is 2& 1/4"

This is a lovely pair of French earrings from the Bohemian era.
I couldn't quite capture the beauty of them.
Lovely silvertone filigree and glass pearls.

They measure:3"...63mm long X 1" ...15mm wide
the dangly pearl strands hang 1& 1/4"

I'm not sure if the metal is silver.

There is a very pretty flowered design on the sheer area.

The brown areas are shading on the background.

There are no spots or stains on the trim.

This is a beautiful butter dish(sorry no lid).

It is the Iris & Herringbone depression glass pattern.

Measures: 6"

Produced by Jeannette Glass company from 1928 - 1932.

It has 2 minuscule chips about 1/8" around the upper rim.

Has no scratches or cracks.

This is a nice green Princess cookie jar. Could be used for utensils, as a vase, or whatever you desire.

It is also called Princess or Drape & Tassel pattern.

From the Hocking Glass Company from 1931-1935.

Has a few slight nicks around the inner edge.

has wear around the bottom edge. Can you imagine how many times this cookie jar was slid across a counter??

Here is a sweet Victorian hand carved shell(transparent) cameo.It has a silver frame. This is before sterling was marked .
Dates to the 1860's-1870's.

I think there is a mark on the link as shown in the 2nd picture, but I am not sure what it is.

This is a Victorian pocketbook for supplies.

The cord/handle,silk lining,SILK fringe and wooden bar frame are all in good working order.

The outer silk is tattered.

The width of the handles and length of the cord are 10".

This is a restored Sessions clock. Apparently they were electric.
Sessions cases vary in design. This one has the original stenciled inlay and is elegant.
The art work is the plantation print.

The bottom finial of the clock is the fancy drop shaped return. This has been glued back on.

MEASURES: 22" overall height x 7& 1/2" wide pendulum door x 4 & 1/4" deep case & 6 1/4" diameter dial & bezel.

This muff is in very good Victorian shape.

The satin inside is in good condition, no tears, etc.

Around the openings there is wear and also a few wear spots here and there. I think it is in very good condition.

I am not sure what kind of fur this is.

Lilly Daché (October 10, 1898 – December 31, 1989) was a milliner and fashion designer.

She was born in Bègles, Gironde, France, and began her fashion career there at the age of 15 as a milliner, apprenticed under Caroline Reboux and Suzanne Talbot. She emigrated to the United States in 1924, settling in New York City. On March 13, 1931, Daché married French-born Jean Despres who was an executive at the large cosmetics and fragrance company, Coty, Inc. Their mutual love and successful supportive professional lives and collaboration endeared them to those around them.

Daché is reported to have said, "Glamour is what makes a man ask for your telephone number. But it also is what makes a woman ask for the name of your dressmaker." She was the most famous milliner in the United States during her time.
