This kippah is an original design, crocheted by me. With a Star of David in the center, surrounded by lacy open crochet, and with a 1/2 edge, it is a perfect kippah for girls and women. It is 4.5 inches in diameter. The beautiful cotton thread was purchased from Snappish.etsy.com

This would be a wonderful Bat Mitzvah gift! Many women in egalitarian communities wear kippot.

I use spray starch which helps the kippah to hold its shape without making it too stiff or crunchy. To care for this kippah, hand wash, and place it over a bowl turned upside down to dry. After drying, spray starch as needed.

This listing is for 5 "Tiny Treasure Totes". An original crocheted design, these little drawstring bags have many uses. They are a good size for holding a lucky penny, a special stone or other treasure, a small toy, jewelry, etc. They can also be an 18" doll's purse, or a sleeping bag for a tiny doll. Carry quarters for meters, or a bit of money to carry without carrying a bigger purse. They can also be used as promos or party favors.

The bags are about an inch in diameter and 2 inches high. This set is crocheted from a turquoise acrylic yarn, and a multi colored sock yarn - orange, yellow, white and blue. The drawstring is about 14 inches long and has a small bead to help keep it closed.

Additional bags are $1.00 each. For larger orders the price is 12 for $10.00

What's Plarn? Plarn is plastic yarn. I cut plastic bags into a yarn that I then use for crocheting. It is lightweight, stretchy, and easily washable.

This useful bowl is made from Whole Foods Market bags, it has a straw like tan color, with green highlights. It is about 4 inches high, and the top is about 6 inches in diameter. The hand crocheted pattern makes it look like woven straw.

It can be used as a candy bowl or on a desk as a holder for paper clips, elastic bands, and/or small electronic gadgets. Small toys or stuffed animals would also fit in it. It also works on a dresser holding pins, rings, and other jewelry.

This would be a great gift for anyone who cares about the environment.

What is PLARN? Plarn is a contraction of the words "plastic yarn". The yarn is made by cutting up plastic bags and chaining them together. This dish is hand crocheted by me from plastic bags from Whole Foods Markets. Whole Foods has made the decision to discontinue using plastic bags in their stores, so these bags are in limited supply.

Are you a crafter who will be selling at craft fairs this summer? This dish is a perfect size to display your business cards in. It is a great CONVERSATION STARTER which will lead to buyers spending more time at your booth.

It's like turning straw into gold! Cut up plastic bags, turn it into Plarn (PLastic yARN), then make it into a bag.

This bag is crocheted using plarn made from Whole Foods plastic bags. Since the Whole Foods chain has stopped using plastic bags, they are in LIMITED SUPPLY. They are a lovely tan color, with highlights of green throughout.

The bottom of the bag is about 2" x 12", and the bag is 12" x 12" - perfect for carrying books. The strap is almost 20" long(hangs down 10")

Bags made from plarn are lightweight, very strong and easily washable. The bag alone is less than 5 oz., and it is shown holding about 20 lbs. of books. This one is particularly soft, and a bit stretchy.

This bag works well as a beach or gym bag. It is waterproof and breathable at the same time, so damp or wet contents don't get yucky or smelly.

This bag has been cleaned and disinfected in a vinegar/water solution.

What the heck is Plarn?!!! It's a new word made by combining the words PLastic, and yARN. It's made by cutting up plastic bags to make a "yarn" that can be used to make things.

I tried something new with this purse, and I love how it turned out! In this original design, hand crocheted by me, I used blue cotton yarn along with the plarn to add a different color and texture to the bag. I also used a crochet stitch that makes it look like a woven basket. The tubular handle is very comfortable to hold and it is also quite strong.

The purse is 9 inches wide and about 5 inches high. The two straps are each about 8 inches long, and it closes with a cute vintage blue button.

People are amazed that plastic bags were used to make this purse. It makes a great conversation starter. What a wonderful way to show your commitment to keeping the planet clean! It's functional, responsible, and attractive at the same time!
