These thick and warm cabled mittens will be hand knit by me using a chunky 100% Baby Alpaca yarn. Alpaca fiber is naturally hypoallergenic, meaning it's perfect for those with wool allergies. It has none of the itchyness that some wool can have. These have an extra large cuff that is full enough to go over the sleeve of your jacket or coat, or can be tucked in.

I can also knit these with a 100% wool yarn for $40.

This yarn looks delicious enough to eat. It would be perfect for many small projects such as scarves, socks, hats, etc...

This yarn was hand painted by me using professional acid dyes. This is a very soft, tightly spun 3 ply yarn will knit up in shades of purple, violet and rosy pink. This superwash wool yarn contains 25% nylon for durability.

I hesitated to list this yarn because I love the color and with the extra yardage I was planning on making a shawl. If it doesn't sell, I may just have to do that.

I hand dyed this yarn using professional acid dyes in several shades of violet with a little navy added for extra interest. These two skeins are sold together.

I had only a small amount of this batt. I decided to spin it in case someone was looking for just a little color to add to their project. The colors are royal blue, light blue, white, and just a very small amount of purple and pink. I love the way these were carded together.

FALL FOLIAGE

The colors in the photo are a shade darker than the yarn. I have a new camera that I'm trying to figure out:) These colors are very warm earthy tones of green, yellow, brown and apricot with a tiny bit of white mixed in. This is a thick/thin double plyed yarn. This would be very pretty combined with another yarn to make a hat or mittens.

Wool and Mohair Hand Spun

This yarn was hand dyed and hand spun by me on my Kromski wheel. I love these bright, vivid colors. I Navajo plyed this roving to keep these colors pure.

The sheep and goats that this wool came from were raised by a local farmer and friend here in Southern Ohio. The addition of the mohair gives the yarn a nice halo. This is the last of this lovely roving.

Felting Fibers--Merino Wool

I selected the colors to make up this assortment of fibers for those of you who create either dry or wet felting projects. This grouping is made up of Merino wool top which felts beautifully.

This fiber was hand dyed by me using people safe, wash fast, acid dyes. The hand dyeing creates some color variation in each piece.

This assortment contains 4.6 ounces of fiber, total weight.
I have more of most of these colors if you need a larger quantity.

These colors included:
lavender, rose pink, hot pink, ruby red, tangerine, navy, black, spring green, and aqua.
