Several years ago I was looking for hat pin holders for a Vintage shop display. The old ones are rare and expensive, so I decided to make them.

"White milk" glass cream jar, painted around with antique gold tone, ornamented with:

- Dusty Rose ruffled lace.
- Guipure of multicoloured flowers, antiqued with a Gold tone patina.
- Antique Gold tone metallic trim.
- Cushion covered with Burgundy taffeta.

Size, jar diameter and height.........6cm/2",4

There is some wear of the cushion, which gives the holder a vintage look.

It can be used for sewing pins or brooch/pin jewelry display.

Vintage 50/70's BLUE LACE ceremony dress, custom made, no labels.

Draped waist, structured skirt with a thick Blue tulle underneath.
It has a big zipper and small hook to close at the back.

The lining is Mauve/pink tone, discoloured in some areas, although not visible in the outside. Threads pulled out from parts of the hem, need to be cut, but no holes, torns.

Vintage 70's PROMINENT ladies wristwatch, manually wind up.

The case is size 27mm x 35mm / 1",8 x 1",4 approx. in Chromium plated, good condition for its age.
It is marked in the back Stainless steel back, antimagnetic.

The dial is strong GREEN with WHITE numbers and hands. Seconds dial. Only a tiny spot on n.8, but general very good condition.

The movement is running! The band is geometric chromium plated, stainless steel links with clasp. Size 16cm /6",4 including case. Good condition.

Antique ARRAIOLOS Portuguese famous embroidery PANEL

Arraiolos is the Northern Portuguese land of tapestry.
For centuries generations have been hand embroidering tapestry, which are worldwide famous, made from wool thread in a base of jute. They are called "Tapete de Arraiolos".

This particular antique piece was bought many years ago in an antique market. Probably was meant for a pillow, but I added a "rich" Golden and Pink trim, which complements the tones of the embroidery, and gives it a much nicer finish.

Arraiolos has a base of Navy Blue, with Mostard yellow, sage Green, Brown, Light Blue and Dusty Rose.

This beautiful panel can be used for wall hanging, just like this or framed, centre table, pillow, and other decorative ideas.

This is the latest of my art work made with delicate Brussels/Chantilly lace (motifs are applied to a net) sometimes painted, and handcrafted with vintage and newer components. Necklaces are inspired in the Roman and
Victorian era.

Very delicate vintage BLACK lace with shinny Black sparkles (original). I handpainted and enhanced the design with a rich Gold tone, after ornamented with:

- Deep Mauve (Purplish) handmade satin Rose.
- Forest Green velvet ribbon
- Gold tone rose.
- Swarovski crystals in Magenta and light to medium Green tones.
Some components are hand-sewn to the lace.

The chain is vintage shinny Gold plated with clasp. Size 34cm / 13",6 around.

~~~~ The Origin of Portuguese “Queen” Earrings ~~~~

In the past, wearing earrings were synonymous to the level of wealth of a woman. An example are gold earrings from the 18th century used by royalty and high society that were named “Queen” or “Rainha” (the latter in Portuguese language). These earrings are typical and a part of Portugal's historical background, associated to the northern region of the country, Minho. Today, these gold beauties are still worn by Portuguese women, but mainly for traditional events such as Folk dancing and more.

In attempt to make these earrings still present, usable, and affordable, they are made in Silver Gold plated with the same care and detail as the old Portuguese jewelers. They are highly popular among a young generation of women, and continue to be part of the origin culture.

New... from the jewelry manufacturer, beautiful dangle earrings in 835 SILVER GOLD PLATED.
The detailed art work reminds an antique piece of lace with "raised" flowers. Inside the bottom part, there is a small dangle flower.

They are lightweight (only 2 grames each) and comfortable to wear. Very shinny in a rich gold plated tone.

This is the latest of my art work made with delicate Venetian lace, sometimes painted, and handcrafted with vintage and newer components. Necklaces are inspired in the Roman and Victorian era.
Venice, Italy: Capital of fashion in the Middle Ages. Lace was a luxury article used as fashion garment accents by the royalty and high society people.

Delicate Black Venice lace which I painted with a rich GOLD tone and embellished with:
- Glass Venetian bead in Pink with Roses and Gold swirls inside.
- Glass crystal Pink big bead.
- "Real" fresh water Cream Pearls.
- Mauve Swarovski crystals.
The chain is made of a gorgeous Swarovski Clear and Mauve crystals vintage bracelet, and a fancy chain in Gold tone, with clasp. Some little rhinestones may have a vintage tone, natural from age, still beautiful.

The case is antique Silvertone embellished with Marcasites (1 missing above the crown). It is marked in the back: FABERGE, base metal bezel, St. Steel back.

The movement is made in Japan, quartz running with new battery.
