I love hand knitting socks. I've made socks for my whole family (all 8 of 'em) and took that time to work out a sock pattern that I love making. Inspired by baseball socks and tube socks, these socks are solid walls of wool to encase your feet and ankles in warmth and softness.
I got the merino wool from my local yarn store and the purple alpaca wool used on the toes, heels and top stripes I picked up in Peru from a little street shop in Cuzco.

This headband is so soft and stretchy, it fits snugly to keep hair back or your ears warm. It's hand knit from two different blended yarns - one is pale blue and the other a brooding gray. The stitch pattern created diagonal edges that in turn created a distinctive seam.
I love making varied sizes of headbands and these wide ones are really versatile. You can fold them over to make them skinny or stretch them wide to hold back thick, long hair. They can cover your ears to block out a chill, be worn on the forehead or pushed back almost to the crown. It can even be pulled down around your neck like a scarflette! I hope you will love this one as much as I do - I've made one for myself.

I've hand crocheted this dress and the matching Mod Circles belt to give it an even more 60's feel and cinch it tight in strong winds. This dress is heavy with denim to withstand normal beach-front winds, but also have soft, stretchable nylon at the shoulders, cap sleeves, down the sides of the torso and waist. Nylon is great for whisking away water while the denim keeps you warm after a dip.

Every year I fly to Atlanta for the Stone Mountain Highland Games and the festivities have inspired this headband. Dark blue alpaca yarn from Cuzco, Peru and organic cotton yarn from Etsy's own StickChick (www.stickchick.etsy.com) are hand knit into the saltire of Scotland, home to some of my ancestors.

Headband is 9" (23cm) laying flat and 3" (8cm) wide.

Hand wash only, lay flat to dry.

These are the most adorable hand crocheted Halloween decorations I've ever laid eyes on. My sister made up the patterns for all the Halloween decorations and she made a few for the shop. This one is a ghost holding a BOO sign with a length of yarn on top so that he can be hung from anything! He's made of acrylic yarn so he's machine washable and dryer safe. Approximately 5" tall.
