This top is bursting with deep, and bright jewel tones. It was originally a very plain poly secretary top, but the colors are absolutely amazing! I took off the collar and made a deep rounded neckline which I added bright teal stretch knit to. I recycled the collar and used it as a ruffle at the neckline which I serged the outer edge of in the same teal color to bring it out a bit. The sleeves, which I shortened but used the original puff, are capped in the same teal fabric as the neckline. I then cinched the waist by adding elastic on the inside.

Wonderful for Fall and Winter, as the bright and rich colors will contrast well with the changing seasons.

This adorable, yet simple, top was reconstructed out of a mens plaid flannel top. I chose not to embellish too much and keep the style somewhat masculine. I took off the sleeves and made them a few inches above the elbow and capped them with a raspberry rib knit. I cinched the waist using elastic.

This top is Excellent for Fall and Winter!

Top would best fit a SMALL or MEDIUM size.

This tunic was reconstructed from a light wool XXL mens sweater. I gave it a dangerously low V neckline and made the puff sleeves three quarter length. The best thing about the top is the geometric black, white and silver tie that I made a ruffle out of and added on one side to give it an asymmetrical look.

The wonderful thing about this tunic is that it fits ALL SIZES!
Will look best on a MEDIUM or SMALL, but will be fitted on a LARGE

This vintage wool sweater(soft and smooth, not scratchy) has beautiful and intricate beaded sleeves and shoulders. I shortened the sleeves which are dolman style and added a deep V neck. Sweater looks amazing paired with a belt in a contrasting color!

This is a super cute vintage top with a square neckline that has two buttons on one shoulder, and pleated puff sleeves. It has a loosed fit around the body and the bottom of the blouse has ties and a button closure on one side so it is adjustable at the hip.

This top started with a vintage sheer striped secretary top, and I added some bright teal rib knit to the ends of the sleeves and the center to cinch the waist and add a bit of contrast. To finish off the Victorian feel I added a small ruffle and pink button to the collar.

Upcycled Vintage Eighties Secretary Top

This top started with a very bright draped neckline secretary blouse. I shortened the sleeves, and took the shoulders in for a better fit. Then I took the sides in and added a long piece of black rib knit to the bottom. If you aren't afraid of wearing short dresses this top can actually be worn as one or it would go perfectly with your favorite jeans!
This top is definitely for those who aren't afraid of color.

Would best fit an extra small, to small size. The bottom band of knit is made smaller for a more customized fit. The hip measurements of the mannequin are 36 inches at the widest part.

For this delicate top I took the style of a kimono and Asian shirt and mixed the two together. The kimono sleeves are lined with a stretchy medium pink lace. The fabric for the whole of the top is a sheer very light pink two way stretch knit with a faint rose print all over it. It is very stretchy! For the piece beside the collar I put the same lace that is lining the sleeves over the shell fabric and topped it off with two big pink buttons for decoration. The back of the top has a pink rick rack tie. This piece is perfect for spring, or just anytime you feel like adding a little Asian flair to your ensemble.

This top has an amazing design. The poly for the body of the top has a crinkle in it which adds great texture. The geometric patterns with the circles in blue against the stark white background gives this top an artsy look that is completely on of a kind.

I recommend a small/medium person for this top. Model is a size small.

For this top I used a crocheted chocolate brown cotton with dark brown sequins mixed in to give it a little shine. I added a cowl neck and the same sea green rib knit the tank is made out of. The tank underneath is a separate piece. It is made out of sea green rib knit. The tank is form fitting so it neatly fits underneath the crochet top. I serged the straps on both sides to make the edges raw. The crochet fabric doesn't have alot of stretch so PLEASE make sure the measurements will fit you!
