'Levi Silvermist' is a 6.5" denim blue (thus the name 'Levi') color mohair, haute shabby bear, sculpted clay nose (no molds,free hand), leather eye lids, needle felted eye whites, glass eyes, hand sewn, center seam head design, hand pigment shaded, stuffed with poly and copper shot for a cozy weight in the hand. His arms and legs are thread jointed and his head is wobble jointed for lots of movement. He wears a sterling silver floral bead around his neck for a bit of la de da' flair. His eye lids are accented in blue and violet. His paw pads have been treated for a wet/worn/shabby texture for a "well loved" appeal. Included is a perfectly sized stand so 'Levi' can stand and pose in many fun, whimsical ways.

Someone on Facebook asked me where I get my bears names, and commented on the uniqueness. I make them up....inspired by my Native American and Scottish heritage, love for romance, fantasy, fairies, celestial, roses, nature and botanical themes...therefore translated to the bears names. I get chuckles from some of them....which makes me smile....I hope you do too.

'Fayette la Fée' is a 6.5" French inspired fairy bear. She is created out of white sparse, matted mohair, a "haute shabby" bear. Sculpted clay nose (no molds, free hand), leather eye lids, needle felted eye whites, doe eye design with glass eyes , hand sewn, center seam head design, hand pigment shaded, stuffed with poly and copper shot for a cozy weight in the hand. Her arms and legs are thread jointed and her head is wobble jointed for lots of movement. She wears a French text, hand painted, altered art fairy wings and wears an amethyst bead and sterling silver beads around her neck for a bit of la de da' flair. Her eyes are accented in shades of lavender and pink with applied eyelashes. Her paw pads have been treated for a wet/worn/shabby texture for a "well loved" appeal. Included is a perfectly sized stand so 'Fayette' can stand and pose in many fun, whimsical ways.

Sculpted clay nose (no molds,free hand), leather eye lids, needle felted eye whites, glass eyes, hand sewn, center seam head design, hand pigment shaded, stuffed with poly and copper shot for a cozy weight in the hand. Akiko is Japanese for 'Autumn Child'. She is one of my very first clay face bears just in time for an Autumn celebration. Her face has been sculpted by hand. The eye whites and forehead "bang" have a slight shimmer in the clay, making Akiko more sparkly and feminine. She is from my new 'Chibi Cutie'© Collection. In the Chibi/Anime/Japanese style, 'Akiko' is 6" made from an old gold colored mohair. Her neck is jointed with hard board disks and her arms and legs and string jointed for fun posing. These little bears have a strong magnetic piece in the body and can be worn on clothing without tearing fabric or adhere to any metal surface. For those collectors who have run out of space, these little cuties offer more options for display. I have some metal art scenes coming soon to display the 'Chibi Cuties'. Wear her, display her....HAVE FUN!!!
