If you have very oily skin that you find hard to thoroughly clean, then you've found a product that can work for you. This masque is specially made for either very oily skin, or normal skin that needs that periodic deep cleanse.

What's in it?

Ground Oatmeal: Oatmeal is known for absorbing oils and impurities from the skin among other things. Since this masque was aimed specifically for cleaning oily skin, this simple yet effective additive was a must!

Kaolin Clay: Not meant to absorb oils, this clay is a deep and effective cleanser. It leaves the skin feeling very fresh and is suitable for all skin types.

Bentonite Clay: Known for its wonderful absorptive qualities, this clay is a must in just about any masque I create. It isn't a harsh cleanser and absorbs oil without draining you completely dry.

Fuller's Earth Clay: This is a highly absorptive clay and I use it primarily in formulations for oily skin. It offers a much deeper cleanse than any other clay I use, but may dry you out a great deal if your skin isn't very dirty or oily.

If you have very oily or combination oily skin and can't stand it, this soap was made for you. I call it super clean because that's the way it makes your face feel.

Here's the good stuff:

Extra Virgin Olive Oil - This soap was made primarily with olive oil for gentle cleansing on sensitive face skin.

Bentonite Clay - This clay was added for its oil absorbing properties. It also makes for a great shaving soap for men as it provides 'slip' for the razor to glide easily along the skin.

Orange Essential Oil - Most everyone is familiar with the power of orange cleaning. Orange essential oil is mainly derived from the hull of the fruit, and if you've ever washed your hands with just an orange peel, you know how clean it can get them!

Unfortunately, citrus essential oils are fleeting in hot and cold process soaps. So that means this soap does not smell strongly of oranges. It is a rather light smell that may do nothing more than fade over time.

Take the lime and the coconut and twist it all up! That's exactly what I did for this wonderful scent combo. Who can resist the zesty scent of lime and the cool sweet smell of coconuts? Not many, and that includes me. I absolutely love this scent together.

This is also some of the best lotion I've ever had the pleasure of using. Very moisturizing and absorbs into your skin quickly. It doesn't leave you sticky (God forbid!) and it doesn't leave you having to apply it every ten seconds (though you might do that anyway). It's reasonably thick, not runny like some other lotions can be.

This is a very good lotion containing Aloe Vera, Olive oil, and sesame seed oils. This lotion is paraben-free but still contains some preservatives for your safety.

Chai tea is a popular hot drink in India-Pakistan and other parts of the Middle East. The tea is boiled with milk until the milk is scalded, and then sweetened and served hot. This fragrance I believe captures the essence of that drink. While not particularly smelling of a cup of hot tea, it does have vanilla and warm milky notes at the top, and underlying tea herbal notes to round out this wonderful fragrance.

French Green clay is heavenly on the skin, and with ground parsley it's even better. The clay and the parsley combine to thoroughly clean and detoxify the skin leaving it looking clear and feeling wonderful! The classic simplicity of vanilla is a must for any line of bath and beauty products, and Earthtone's Bath is no exception. This vanilla is a soft scent and very feminine. It is sweeter than a more realistic vanilla bean, but delicious all the same.

This scent is crisp and mellow at the same time. I can't stop sniffing this one and you probably won't be able to either. This scent sports top notes of spearmint and the sweet tartiness of raspberry. Eucalyptus helps round out this fragrance so that you end up with an equal balance of sweet, tart, and mint. This is definitely a treat for your nose and skin.

This bar has been made with natural yellow shea butter. The lather is bubbly and creamy and plentiful. You will receive one 5oz bar of handmade goodness.

Cedar Falls is my own original blend of essential and fragrance oils. If you aren't comfortable putting an oil on your face after you so diligently cleaned it, this facial is for you. Milk is wonderful on the skin whether in a bath, a foot soak, or on your face. It leaves your face feeling very smooth after your remove your masque.

This is a very spicy wonderful fragrance. It is a very sweet orange with strong notes of cinnamon and allspice. It reminds me of a nice hot spicy orange tea you might drink to keep you warm on those brisk Fall nights. I'm sure you'll enjoy this very lively and sense-awakening fragrance.

There is a bit of cosmetic grade orange peel powder in this soap to give a very light exfoliation while you bathe.

Mint Chamomile Clay Facial Mask 4oz

After a bit of a hiatus in order to re-vamp and improve products, I am reintroducing the clay facial masks. I have the same wonderful ingredients but this time around I have opted for a finer touch I'm sure you will enjoy. My first incarnation of this product contained coarsely ground dried herbs. Many people enjoyed that aspect of the facial, but it wasn't for everyone. I have hand ground the dried mint leaves and chamomile flowers using a good old fashioned mortar and pestle. I spend a considerable amount of time grinding the additives to get as smooth a texture as I can create. While it isn't a powder, the mint and dried flowers are finely crushed. I hand grind them in small quantity to ensure that they are thoroughly crushed.

I have also not included a three-clay formula as before. I have only included Kaolin white clay and Fuller's Earth along with the dried herbs. This formula is designed for oily skin and so is heavy on the Fuller's Earth clay. This clay is excellent at absorbing oils and other impurities in the skin. Kaolin clay was added to aid in cleansing the face. It does not absorb oils from the skin. It is wonderful for detoxifying the face and leaving it very clean.

I have chosen to add mint leaves for their astringent qualities that also aid in thorough deep cleansing. It can also be anti-inflammatory.

Chamomile was added for its relaxing qualities and may also be anti-inflammatory.

All you need to do to use this wonderful product is to take about 1-2 tbsp and mix it with water to form a paste. Rub this paste all over your face while avoiding your eyes. Allow to dry for at least 15-20 minutes. Wash of with water and dry. You will receive a free cotton cosmetic round with your purchase. Of course crocheted by me.

Do you know a man who isn't afraid of his feminine side? Is he a manly man that can admit another guy is handsome? Can he own up to his secret man-crush? Really?! Then this is the perfect soap for him!

Man crush is an exclusive blend of cedarwood essential oil and white grapefruit fragrance oil. It was a nice smell but a little too strong until I added the most unlikely fruit to this fruit and flower series; the banana. Yep, banana is the underlying and perfect balance for this scent. Not too sweet, but just enough to mellow out two very strong scents.

Men love this fragrance! There hasn't been a guy yet who's smelled it and not got his own crush on this soap. Not only is it a wonderful scent, but it's made with shea butter to give it that extra skin conditioning effect. With its abundant, creamy lather you'll fall in love with it too.
