A cute little moss bristle
I love to be in the nature. Now I have been walking in the forest again and picked some hair cap moss. The moss looks so soft and comfortable almost like a cushion.
Old days ago people made brushes of the hair cap moss and used them to brush ashes in the open fire or in the kitchen.
What shall you use the little moss bristle for?
My intention is to bring you something beautiful from the forest. Just put it somewhere for decoration or you can use it to brush crumbs for instance.

Put the brush into water to make it moore fluffy and see the moss “bloom out”.
Slowly the moss turns more into brown.This moss was left over winter in the summerhouse. When I found it next year the moss turned into a lovely foxred color, still strong and fluffy.
The helve is striped, wired with a strong cotton yarn. The colors are purple
blue
pale blue
mauve
pale turquoise

The cotton yarn is dyed by me and shifts a little bit in nuances.

Printed on a gorgeous satin silk, 2 pushbuttons, washable gently by hand.

The fabric in this pouch is made by me in my atelier used the silkscreen technique.
My screens are my paint brushes and the fabric my canvas. I have plenty of screens.
Then I go ahead. I print, print again over it. I can use a brush or a natural sponge to fill over the surface. I go on this way until I got a really beautiful fabric surface. I love to work this way. The fabric need to be fixated and rinsed out before you can use it and see the real colors.
The fixation also makes the fabric washable.

I can’t resist picking the beautiful red rowan berries.

I dry them, they become quite hard and i use them like pearls.

Rosa is a beautiful little pouch to wear your piece of jewellery or creditcards in. The colors are blue, magenta, turquoise, green, purple, yellow and copper. This case is unique. It is handprinted and painted. Lined with fleece in a matching blue color.
Printed on cotton, 1 pushbutton, washable gently by hand.

The fabric in this pouch is made by me in my atelier used the silkscreen technique.
My screens are my paint brushes and the fabric my canvas. I have plenty of screens.
Then I go ahead. I print, print again over it. I can use a brush or a natural sponge to fill over the surface. I go on this way until I got a really beautiful fabric surface. I love to work this way. The fabric need to be fixated and rinsed out before you can use it and see the real colors.
The fixation also makes the fabric washable.
