This Polaroid Emulsion transfer features an angel statue from the Pantheon.

Making an Emulsion Transfer:
The image is separated from the polaroid backing in a warm water bath. The flexible image is then adhered to the marble tile. Once dry, it's enhanced with watercolor & colored pencils. The final piece is treated with a UV-resistant topcoat.

It is signed & dated on the back. A metal hanging hook is secured to the back. Tile is READY TO HANG.

Tile measures 4" sq x 7/16" D . Polaroid Transfer Tile is not waterproof & is not a coaster.

WINGED BEAUTY pendant necklace - OOAK - Free Shipping

This lovely lady is printed from an antique postcard and then enhanced with watercolors and an iridescent glaze. She has been secured to a round pendant and is topped with a glass cabochon. Metal butterfly wings complete her unique appearance.

Pendant measures approx. 1.5"h x 1.75"w x 1/4"d. Round setting is silver plated brass, oxidized for an antique look. The wings are silver colored metal with a faux aged finish. The vintage lady is sealed with an iridescent glaze which was applied with vertical brushstrokes. When you look head-on you see the full picture. However, when the piece is angled, the sparkle of the glaze obscures her beauty & the magnifying cab exaggerates the brushstrokes.

Necklace has 10.5" drop total. Pendant hangs from a 18" silver colored ball chain. Please convo me if you prefer different style or length of chain / cord. I have a variety to choose from.

TEMPUS INCOGNITUM Time Unknown Necklace - Elgin pocketwatch face and scarab - FREE SHIPPING

Since my time machine has been on the fritz, I thought it might be cool to SEE what I've been missing.... My tinkering resulted in this one of a kind ocular necklace.

The new leather medallion has been covered with a really great antique Elgin pocket watch face and a vintage copper scarab jewelry piece. (These are truly old items and not newer faux-vintage copies). There is a ring of copper paint around the watch face. The front of medallion has been covered in a thick layer of clear slightly crackled glaze.

Due to the unpredictability of the device, the brown leather back has been stamped with the warning "TEMPUS INCOGNITUM" (time unknown). There is also a hole in the center of the pendant for viewing other time periods.... supposedly... In fact, while looking through the hole can give you a new perspective on things, it all seems to be in the present. Bit of a glitch, I'm afraid. Perhaps you will have more luck activating this feature than I have!!

The leather necks strap has no clasp and, with a 14" drop, simply loops over the head.

This One Of A Kind Polaroid Transfer is adapted from my original drawing. It is on acid free mat board. This is an Original emulsion transfer, NOT a print.

The polaroid transfer image measures approx. 3.5" x 4.25". The matboard measures approx. 11"H x 12"W. I will custom cut the mat to your desired size & fit it with a top mat at no extra charge. Just convo me.

To create a polaroid transfer, a waterbath is used to separate the image from the polaroid backing. The flexible image can then be stretched or altered. It is then adhered to the paper. After drying, the final piece is coated with a UV resistant finish.

The center of this pendant is a slide of my original charcoal & pastel drawing, Third Eye. The slide image vanishes when worn but is clearly viewed when raised to the light. Hold this unusual piece to your eye for a unique view of the world. The slide is set into a dark metal circle. The pendant has a copper colored gear on the front & a green translucent ring on the back.

It was challenging to photograph this piece. The top photo shows some light coming through. The next photo is a close up of slide image. The next shows the darkened slide. The bottom photo shows the back of pendant.

Pendant measures 1.75" across. The extra long S-Chain is 32" long, making it easier raise the image to the eye. Please convo me if you prefer different length/style of chain. I have a variety to choose from.

Vintage copper scarab is securely attached to a lovely piece of polished stone. This circular pendant hangs from a 28" piece of brown cotton cord. WIth a 14" drop, this necklace easily fits over the head. Since there is no need for a clasp, cord ends are secured with copper colored metal "gear". This one of a kind mixed media transfer on marble tile features my original art and architectural stampings. I used a variety of materials in this piece.

The front is sealed with both a UV resistant finish and a gloss varnish. I added the varnish to give some light texture to the piece. Viewed head on, you only notice the piece. But from an angle, you can see very light brush strokes.

The base is a 4" x 4" sq of white marble. It is signed and mounted on the back. It also has a hanger securely mounted to the back & is ready to display.

This little house features a digital collage of my original photos & drawings. The sides are decorated with altered scrapbook paper and the base is felted.

On one side is the phrase "Wherever You Are I Am Home". I have embellished the house with watercolor, markers, paint & pencils. The edges have been roughed up a bit with sandpaper & paint.The whole piece is treated with a final coat of UV-resistant spray.

It measures 7" x 6.25" x 1.5" and is a weighted free standing piece.

This one of a kind mixed media collage/drawing on canvas board features one of my favorite fairy tales. It is made of a variety of materials. The text in Red's dress and the trees is printed from an 1834 copy of Red Riding Hood. This piece has been sealed with a UV-resistant finish and is signed on the lower right.

Red's Walk measures 8" x 10". It is set into a 9.5" x 11.5" X .75"d wooden frame and is mounted under glass. I made a thin wooden shadow box insert so that the piece does not touch the glass.

Red's Walk is wired and ready to hang.

They say he always had an eye for adventure.

The main photograph in this collage was taken several years ago from a slow moving train in Conegliano, Italy. I added the ethereal legs so the gentleman would have something to look at.

This digital collage has been enhanced with watercolor pencils & markers. Some flashy little swarovski crystals jazz up the ruby slippers. The final piece is surrounded by an 8" x 10" faux-lace mat and will fit a standard size frame.

This 5x7 digital collage is filled with hidden elements - alchemic symbols, watch parts, even a shrouded figure.It was created for the Etsy Melange Team's challenge prompt "Change".

The printed digital collage was embellished with pencil, markers, watercolor pencil, & ink. It has also been treated with a UV resistant finish and comes mounted in an 8 x 10 mat.

Your choice of mat color. I have white, burgundy & dark blue available. Just let me know in your message to seller which color you want.

This One of a kind ACEO is adapted from one of my charcoal drawings. The original was digitally altered & then embelished with markers & watercolor pencils. I then cut out a rose & filigree border before mounting on red reflective paper. The metallic paper was a challenge to photograph. click on the lowest thumbnail for a bit more of the reflective shine.

This mixed media piece has been mounted on a 2.5" x 3.5" piece of mat board for support. It is signed on the back & coated with a UV resistant finish.

So, you thought you were alone....

Original charcoal drawing on gray paper. Drawing measures approx. 11" x 15". It is surrounded & backed by acid free matboard. Mat is a light gray/khaki type color. Outside of mat measures 16"H x 20"W. click on 2nd thumbnail pic to see photo that includes the mat.

Drawing is signed & dated (1998). I'm trying to make room in the studio so it's time to move some older pieces. It has been wrapped in a protective sheet of acid-free acetate & is in mint condition.

Edgar Allan Poe's wife (& cousin) Virginia died of tuberculosis at age 24. When she died Poe is said to have realized that he had no images of her & had a watercolor portrait made of her corpse. This is the only image of Virginia known to exist. She is thought to be the inspiration for the many tragic women found in his writings

Poe's Muse is a fusion of Virginia's image and a 1848 daguerreotype of the author. It is printed in archival inks on glossy paper & has been treated with a UV resistant finish. Image measures approximately 4 x 5.75

This piece comes with either a 5 x 7 or 8 x10 acid free white mat. Just note which size mat you want when purchasing. Both will fit in a standard frame. The 1st and bottom thumbnail pics show the different size mats.

One of my 1st memories is of the lady slippers which grew in the dark woods behind my grandmother's house. I remember reaching for the lush pinkness & being told not to touch. Somehow I was made to understand that these flowers were special. Almost sacred, although that word came much later.

To create this one of a kind piece, I digitally altered my original photo of a Paphiopedilum Orchid. After printing with archival inks & paper, I went over the image with watercolors and colored pencil. TO SEE DETAILS: click on thumbnail pics.

The piece is signed & dated on the lower right. It has been treated with a UV resistant top coat.

For ease of framing, it is mounted in a white acid free 11 x 14" mat.
